We have only the pilots word that he was hostile or abusive. What specifically did he do and was it rovoked. Do you have any idea of what airlines are capable of driving a normally sane person to do? Then you haven't been around much because the abuse they dole out is unlike any other industry.

This is the story the SS agents' lawyer is putting out. Agent was booked on a flight and filled out the paperwork FOR THAT FLIGHT. Flight was cancelled or changed, agent had to get on a different flight. At gate of new flight, they didn't have the proper forms, so they had him cross out the info on the ORIGINAL flight, substituting new flight # etc, for original info. This sent up red flags everywhere. I'm not saying the guy may not have gotten mouthy, or whatever, but before we canonize AA for their good work, we might also get the other side of the story to see where they went wrong i.e. not having the forms for a LEO to fill out. I guess the airlines are now off-the-hook on their gross mistreatment of passengers for the last umpteen years now that we have Muslims or middle-eastern-looking people to demonize.

Exactly!

All I know is that if I were the president, I'd want a bodyguard with a clip in his holder, not a chip on his shoulder.

I would want my agent near me not stuck in some airport because some pilot voted for the other guy and saw a chance to get even. This was at BWI a local call or 20 miles from Washington DC. This was the Presidents personal guard. The pilot should have made darn sure he wasn't legit before denying him boarding. It is interesting that this Pilot's manager sugested they verify this Agents Identity then sortly there after the Pilot claimed the Agent became abusive. All of the talking Heads that spoke tonight came out against the pilot.

Of course most of the liberal media ignored the story tonight since it showed Bush was right to stand up for his man.

Time to wakey wakey. Stopping an Arab with a gun, bogus paperwork, and an attitude problem from boarding a plane full of fuel headed toward President Bush's ranch isn't outlandish "security." It's tough policing and the proper use of government.

The paperwork he submitted WAS NOT BOGUS. The paperwork had to be adjusted BY and AA agent because his flight was cancelled..and he was directed to another flight. His paperwork was in order and done properly. All the pilot needed to do is confirm that the AA agent had indeed made the changes.
