Posted: September 14, 2001 11:34 AM Hialeah, FL (WSVN) Seven News has confirmed through sources that the Hialeah Police Department is detaining two men of Middle Eastern at the Okeechobee Inn on US 27. They are believed to be in possession of not only pilot's licenses, but also fraudulent immigration documents. They are detaining the men until the FBI arrives to further question these men. This Okeechobee Inn motel is only a quarter of a mile from the Miami International Airport. This is just another indication that the FBI is working with the police to follow up on every possible lead.

I guess one of the flaws in their plan is that they need several men in the group to have enough force to overtake a plane. What the did not count on was the swiftness and the extent that additional security measures would be set in place.

Another thing they don't realize is that EVERYBODY in the US now knows that the terrorists have no intention of allowing anyone to live. Any terrorist who attempts to take over a plane will no doubt have a whole planeload of angry passengers who will NOT sell their lives cheaply nor allow anyone to use the aircraft they are on to be used to murder more innocents.

Even if they manage to get a bomb on board, the can manage to do no more than destroy one aircraft at a time.
