My ggg-GF fought at Gettysburg w/ the 29th Pennsylvania Volunteers.
They lost fifteen killed, forty-five wounded and fourteen missing.
Our family still has his sword.

Our family still has his sword.

That is truly a family treasure. Please make sure that there is some way of keeping it in your family. I'd hate to see it show up on an episode of Pawn Stars.

I have 2 ggg-Uncles that were killed at Gettysburg as well. They both were killed defending Houck’s Ridge and the 4th NY Artillery that was placed at Devil’s Den. They served with the 124th New York. The “Orange Blossoms”
