The last day of work is always soooooo much fun. Work is really great when you don't give a hooey.
The thing I miss about working is the camaraderie. I miss all the gossip and jokes. I think that's why I like it here.

Thanks for the info and link jriemer. Our local Waldon's has a program to send books and magazines to our local ubits that were deployed. You can either buy the book or purchase a gift certificate.
Anything to help our Soldiers and rid FR of Trollkin.

If the shear mass of postings to the Hobbit Hole won't kill FR, nothing will. There are enough to produce their own gravitational pull. 8^)

I'm in, finally.
Been lurking about, and had a small 'break' yesterday much to my later chagrin.
Alot of people are going out on vacation this month.
FR is gonna be somewhat empty of familiar faces for a bit while some are out for awhile.
*sigh*
Will see you when you can get in, and stack up the tales for when you can share them.
Will be waiting to hear them.
Black Horse Cav, isn't there a modern US unit using that moniker now?

The thing I miss about working is the camaraderie. I miss all the gossip and jokes. I haven't worked with anyone near my age sine leaving the service, so don't have a good frame of reference here.
I think that's why I like it here.
FR, and especially the Foxhole, is great. Most of my coworkers have been fairly conservative, but none are veterans. I know not everyone in the Foxhole is either, but that doesn't matter. Since leaving the service, I have learned there is a camaraderie among vets, and supporters, that is wonderful to be immersed in.
