I didn't start out as a New supporter but I am coming around a bit. Paul attacking Newt or other Republicans is a stupid way to go about becoming the nominee and it's why Gingrich is doing well. He is focusing on attacking Obama’s policies and what he has done to this country. Paul will not be garnering the nomination and we all know that. Plus the fact that Paul's foreign policy scares the hell out of me. Plus he seems to have a grudge of sorts for Israel. I will never understand candidates who stay in the race after it becomes clear they are not going to win the nomination. To take peoples money perhaps. Flame away.

Newt is not the guy to lead America. He is not a conservative. No matter what he says look at the record of his time in Congress. At one time he did show some conservatism to become speaker of the house. His character is not good. He is a futurist, an internationalist, and would gladly let the UN declare the laws for all.

I think, like Pat Buchanan, some Arabs got to him early and either poisoned his heart with lies, or paid him off. They both have a visceral and irrational hatred for Israel, and bias towards retrograde Arab states.

Don’t know what others are hearing, but I am hearing a lot of people are really ticked off at Paul for this. Obviously Newt fans are, but the outrage is not limited to Newt fans. Bet if Paul gets the nomination, there will be a third part run. Paul is way to scary for MOST of America.

Ronald Reagan did not walk on water. The fact that the truth about Newt is damaging to Newt reflects on what a poor choice Newt would be as a condidate rather than anyone who makes the facts known.
