“If Ron Paul had his way, Saddam would still be in power to rape and murder the innocent.”
That’s just plain Wrong. If Congress had passed the declaration of war against Iraq in 2002 that Ron Paul proposed we would have declared victory in 2003 after a stunning defeat of Saddam and his cronies. Instead we have half of America believing that we lost the war and call for our troops to to come whimpering home like the French.

Certainly, but my point is that the Federal Government maintains a monoploy on the currency.
No, the Federal Reserve maintains a monopoly on currency. The Federal Reserve is *not* a part of the Federal government, nor never has been. It is a consortium of private banks, most of whom aren't even American. The "Chairman of the Federal Reserve" is nothing more than the official mouthpiece for the directors of those banks, and do whatever is in that cartel of banks best interests, as said directors see it at the time...
Actually it is the Federal Government that maintains the monopoly via the Federal Reserve Act. If you don't believe me, try creating a private currency and see whether you are arrested by agents of the Federal Government or the Federal Reserve.
