Well, as long as he gives the permission, I guess it’s alright...
SMH. How many Christians actually read their Bibles?
Preaching against adultery should be celebrated.
To make it sound like something bad is low IQ.
Preaching against adultery, preaching in Christ.
If you don’t love your brothers in Christ, then you’re not a believer.
No doubt. It takes all types and I won’t judge. I’m just pointing out the contrast between traditional worship services and contemporary “charismatic” type service. It’s a stark contrast.
If it causes you to sin then cut it off. Problem solved
And this “pastor” is a heretic!
Yep - he knows his audience. And he’s right about praying throughout the day and no “booty calls”.
Such a high bar the preacher is setting here.
I’ve seen lots of “binding” and “rebuking” that accomplished nothing other than to stir a few listeners up emotionally.
If this is the preacher’s solution to adultery and fornication, I’d give greater than 50/50 odds that he’s never made it through a single year of his ministry without engaging in a “booty call”.
There’s not a single example in the Bible of this approach. And I’ve never heard one remotely believable testimonial of anyone delivered from such behavior using this strategy.
Comes across as just more sensationalism by a money- and fame-seeking “minister”.
Oh...well...I wouldn’t endorse this methodology, but, the headline made it sound like he was calling for them - not calling for them to stop. The former would not surprise me given the state of some churches and their theological drifts.
I didn’t know this pastor is a heretic. Maybe you’re wrong and he’s not a heretic.
