Remember popular Folk singer Cat Stevens ( born Steven Demetre Georgiou )? He sold millions of records during his heyday, even garnering a Grammy Award nomination.
His father was Greek Orthodox and his mother was a Baptist, and attended a Catholic School.
At the height of his popularity — He converted to Islam and changed his name to Yusuf Islam.
After conversion, he was embroiled in a controversy that supposedly saw him support the death fatwa placed on author Salman Rushdie in response to the publication of Rushdie’s novel The Satanic Verses. He later explained that he never supported the fatwa.
That’s another example.
I would actually read the Kayron to them. You know, the stuff about taking women, calling them your wife, then raping them and discarding them, for one.
Might read the more humorous items like Satan pees in your ears at night or how alah eats jihn poop. But I’m just a silly Christian who knows nothing about the religion of peace...
