If something contradicts Scripture it is in error and one doesn’t need any “authority” to recognize it. One just needs reading comprehension.
It’s not personal.
There are plenty of deluded protestants which I try to call out many times and get flamed for doing so.
The only one who has any authority is Christ Jesus, The Messiah.
He holds the keys to death and hades (Revelation 1:18)
He alone is our intercessor (1 Timothy 2:5)
Salvation of the soul is in nobody else (Acts 4:12)
He is the living stone rejected by men but chosen by God (1 Peter 2:4)
He is our Royal High Priest (Hebrews 4:15)
He is our only Sacrifice to God for our sins (1 John 2:2)
Nobody can forgive our sins but HIM (1 John 2:12)
He is our Righteousness of God through faith in Him (Romans 3:22)
It’s only about Him. It always was about Him. It will always be about Him.
He is the AUTHORITY. Nobody or nothing else.

Well, considering the number of things Catholicism gets wrong, and the current state of you leadership, they are in no position to tell anyone they are wrong.

It is fulfillment, not replacement. The Jews are not replaced because they are included in the salvation of Jesus Christ. To call it "replacement theology" is a falsehood and calumny against Christians.

Because some within the church teach another gospel (replacement theology), they have themselves become accursed. God is not a Covenant breaker as some would teach.
Galatians 1:8-10

Do you really want to go down that rabbit hole? Remember, protestantism is built upon the doctrine of private interpretation of Scripture.
Simply put: being as you are protestant of some sort, you by definition hold beliefs which contradict Scripture. Who says so? If nothing else, I say so ... and you have no grounds to contradict me. Private interpretation, remember? It's a two edged sword.

So ... The author of the OP grasped at authority he doesn't have, and wrecked his entire article. His first mistake (IMO) was calling out other Christian groups. As another poster noted upthread, he turned his argument largely into an attack on a strawman. His second mistake (IMO) was presuming to speak with authority he doesn't have instead of humbly promoting his own beliefs.
You probably disagree with all of the above. You may have the last word if you like.

Who needs “authority” when you can read it clearly in black and white that something contradicts Scripture?
There is only One Authority - maybe some folks don’t recognize Him as that Authority?
