When the prophet Isaiah stood in the presence of God’s Holy Throne, he felt so unworthy that an angel applied a poker to his lips to purify him.

Every soul that is saved receives that salvation from the Precious Blood of Jesus. Some souls, like Isaiah, will feel unworthy in God’s Presence. In Purgatory some of the dirt accumulated over a.lifetime of sin is cleansed, by God’s Grace, again grace that comes through the Passion of Jesus. C.S. Lewis believed in it. He wrote about Purgatory in Mere Christianity and The Great Divorce.

So...

...what really happens in purgatory?

Mary is Holy but she is a member of the Church, not a Messiah.

She sure seems to think so!

The 15 promises

(Given to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche)

1Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive powerful graces.
2.I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
3.The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies
4.It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of people from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
5.The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
6.Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying Himself to the consideration of its Sacred Mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise Him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.
7.Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.
8.Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the Saints in Paradise.
9.I  shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
10.The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
11.You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
12.All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
13.I  have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death
14.All who recite the Rosary are my children, and brothers and sisters of my only Son, Jesus Christ.
15.Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

"The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem,

no matter how difficult it is, wheter temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families...that cannot be solved by the Rosary.

There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary."

Although I'm done with you,

You just typed "What questions did I not answer." (sic)
For the record, I'm compelled to make it clear: I most definitely asked you several questions. You never responded even after several reminders.
And you asked me questions - I answered them.

Two things to help your communication skills:
1. You can find the question mark on your keyboard - it's likely in the lower right corner (but not always... look for it!) It looks like this -?

2. You can find my questions by following these steps-
a. Go HERE
b. Press < ctl > F -on your keyboard.
c. Look for the SEARCH box and enter a question mark (See #1 above)
You'll find several "question marks" on the webpage. Look for the ones that I wrote to you.

Answer those questions.

_______

And - your claim that I don't know the details of your evil "church" is false. I was raised in that pit, did all the required (useless) "Sacraments", was devout in all matters, including catechism through high school, since then, I've studied its errors, comparing them to the Word, and I've been an active participant in many of these FR Religion pages since 1998.
Thankfully, many (!) other Freepers (including metmom, whom you failed to cc in your response to me although you mentioned her name - I told you before, that is a common courtesy here.) have highlighted numerous serious faults with the Catholic "church"

Here's an odd fact, I'll be doing the Second Reading (portions of Rom 8, oddly excluding a single verse in the middle of the passage) at Mass this coming Tuesday.

_______

So, I am totally done with you at this point. I needed to set the record straight. I have now done that.

Have fun with yourself.

I don’t understand. Are you saying that you’re doing a reading at Mass, or that your Church is using the same Scripture? I know you’re done with me, but I would like to know what you’re saying here.

Private revelation. It’s not binding on the faithful.

I don’t know exactly, just that it prepares us for being in the Presence of the Holy Trinity.

Are you saying that you’re doing a reading at Mass?

C'mon... you know what "Mass" means!

I do. It’s the representation of the one Sacrifice Our Lord Jesus Christ made present on the altar. He then shares His presence with us in the Holy Eucharist.

But...
Can you chew the holy eucharist now? Or, do you still have to let it melt, become soft, and then swallow?

What’s the latest rule on that?

What if there’s a fumble and it falls on the floor? Can just anybody touch it? Or is it up to the “priest” because he’s better than you?

What’s the latest regulation on that?

How long after absolution are you good for until you can’t take communion? Two weeks? Three?

Again, what’s the rule? Is it a local rule?

How long do you have to fast before you take communion? Should the fast end when the “Liturgy of the Eucharist” starts, or earlier, when you genuflect and make the sign of the cross?

What’s the latest rule on that?

Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? (Matthew 15:17)

What’s the rule on THAT? Do you take any “special” bathroom precautions after transubstantiation?

Don’t bother answering...because YOU CAN’T...because you don’t KNOW.

The Eucharistic Species is sacred. Normative way is kneeling and on the tongue. Unfortunately many dioceses abandoned the traditional discipline against Church authority, a and the weak Paul VI gave in and allowed the practice via an Indult(ie, traditional practice is still the norm but permission for a different practice in certain countries where the new practice is already being done. Unfortunately the practice spread throughout the Western Church.

If a Host falls on the floor, it must be covered so that the priest can properly take care of It after Mass.

Which takes us RIGHT BACK to the beginning of our EXCELLENT relationship:
< quote> How many of your 1.2 billion adherents are being misled, and will probably go to hell? And I agree. Most are probably going to hell. Why? Because they add works to grace and that won't work. < end quote>

...and you STILL haven't answered all of the questions I asked TO DEMONSTRATE one small facet of how WORKS-BASED your religion IS. (extremely!)

"...covered so the priest can take care of it after Mass."

I see that as HUMOROUS. ANY REASONABLE PERSON would.

Try to deny it, basing your response on ANYthing other than pharisaical-style rules.

Your "church" is a white-washed empty tomb.

Buh-Bye.

Wasn’t it foretold by Malachy that Benedict would be the last pope?
