I am not a Catholic hater. When the original Jesuit Francis (Xavier) was spreading the gospel everywhere from India to Japan, Christ was exalted. When Jesuit Jean de Brebeuf gave his life to save the Huron, Christ was exalted. When the present Pope opens his mouth, 90% of the time Christ cringes.

I don’t hate Catholics. I hate those who claim to be Catholics and serve Satan. Same for Baptists, Lutherans, Methodists, Pentecostal, and every other Christ-named group.

You forget to add that you get to have up to three wives, with none of them dead, in the Orthodox “church”.

I’m with ya…
But I have seen others here that show ignorance of Catholicism. I’m not much of a Catholic anymore, but my beef isn’t with the Church, it’s with those so-called
“worshippers” like Biden and Pelosi who consider themselves “devout”.
We know where they stand.

Two wrongs don't make a right. You guys ignore the Bible and so does Bergoglio:

And he said:  5 For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be in one flesh.

6 Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.  7 They say to him: Why then did Moses command to give a bill of divorce, and to put away?  8 He saith to them: Because Moses by reason of the hardness of your heart permitted you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.  9 And I say to you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that shall marry her that is put away, committeth adultery.  10

[9] "Except it be": In the case of fornication, that is, of adultery, the wife may be put away: but even then the husband cannot marry another as long as the wife is living.

Matthew 19

And it was your council which condoned such adultery, not some apostate pope.

Meanwhile, in Germany this very week, your “Church” is blessing gay “marriages”.

So they're schismatic, just like the Orthodox.

I know all about y’all’s phony excuses to commit adultery.

No different than rubber-stamped francis-annulments.

And if follows that if the Orthodox permit adultery with up to three wives, they must also allow artificial contraception:

The Orthodox Church in America (OCA) states: “Married couples may express their love in sexual union without always intending the conception of a child”. Think of it like this. When we eat, we do it to nourish our bodies and to enjoy what God gave us. If you eat a piece of chocolate, you engage the second purpose, but not the first. And that is completely okay. So long as we do not abuse it to the point it damages our health and undermines food’s other purpose. So it is with sex within marriage.

The Orthodox Church’s teachings on contraception

Recently, GOARCH began permitting the use of non-abortifacient contraceptives in marriage to “space children, enhance the expression of marital love, and protect health”. However, many other jurisdictions of the Church continue to uphold Tradition and condemn contraceptives like condoms, spermicide, the morning-after pill, etc. except in As such, these jurisdictions only allow natural methods like NFP and abstinence for married couples.

Orthodoxy has remained united and faithfully kept the Apostolic Faith.

No it doesn't. It approves both adultery and artificial birth control.

Who would convert to such a "religion"?

When a divorce happens, it is treated as a sin.

In the Catholic Church when one confesses his sins, he promises to "confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life.

I guess y'all are too inconvenienced in "amending your lives". You prefer adultery.

I don’t go to bogus ordo Masses.

And you’re getting off topic.

How many wives do you have living? Your “church allows it, after all.
