How about a fast of contributions to the Catholic Church during Lent?
How are they ever going to heat those lavish and hugely popular man love apartments so prominent in the news 6 months ago..
Doing my part: power has been out since Wednesday, so we are burning Mr. Buddy heaters and a gas generator. No fridge, furnace, washer, dryer, lamps, etc.
Getting ready for those forced blackouts.

So does that mean they will be “fasting” from going to work, driving to the grocers, sending their kids to school on a bus, heating their homes, and doing lots of other things that fossil fuels helps them to do? It’s gonna be a long forty days.
It is cold. Not too bad until the sun goes down. The ice storm hit Michigan really hard last Wednesday. There are many people still without power, schools cancelled and lineman working their butts off.
I am over 60 and do not remember ever having one this bad

I went with out power for 14 days. It sucked but it was hot not cold. Got through it. Learnt alot. Lol.
