warned ... against “going backward” in “Tradition,”
=++
I agree, on the surface. Paul wrote about the trouble with, and the uselessness of ‘tradition’. (Jewish tradition of the time)
But I suspect this Poop, oops Pope, would consider Salvation By Grace, without works, as ‘tradition’.
And his - promote the Gospel by consulting non-Catholic “experts.”
Probably refers to non-Catholic, social justice and welfare-type organizations.

My suggestion to Frank is that he read the New Testament as it is, without seeing it through the filter of centuries of additions and traditions that have been made to the simple practices of the early Church.

No need to read souls.
Only need to read Scripture.

Virgins are sinners too broYet, judgemental you can't name one of Her "sins".
But thanks for finally admitting that Mary was a perpetual virgin.

Luther lacked perfection. He also lacked sanctity. He wrestled with the Devil and he lost.

You are, like most deep-end Catholics, mistaken. Indulgences my ass. Etc, etc, etc. Never any of it Scriptural.

And you know that how, exactly? Luther’s name does not appear in the Bible, so you’re obviously relying on some extra-Scriptural authority ... one I don’t recognize.

Why did Jesus Christ fast 40 days in the desert?
Was He not sinless?

Mary was a virgin until after the birth of Christ when she enjoyed marital relations with her husband Joseph, to fulfill the Scriptural order of creation.
As far as Mary’s sins, God said all have sinned and there are none righteous - not one.
I don’t need to know any details about Mary’s sins. God knows all and all son is against Him.

ALL believers are saints, sealed, and seated in the heavenlies. Just read the epistles.

And you know that Luther died saved and a "believer" how, exactly? You weren't there and couldn't have seen into his heart if you had been. Don't even bother with OSAS; Luther didn't believe it anyway.
Where do you get off infallibly proclaiming that Luther is among the saved, when Scripture never identifies him as such?
