Well, my ztatement turned out to be somewhat off-base because Bergoglio did meet with the FSSP, and it was announced about 4 days after my post.
He has met with them, but he has a lot more leverage over FSSP and ICK than he does over SSPX. SSPX has already been cut off from official recognizance, so what more can the Vatican really do to them?
