There seems to be a lot of people in power trying to make ‘fundamental’ changes.

Most worldly “pope” ever. (That’s not a compliment)

Bergoglio (heretic and minion of Satan) continues on his mission to destroy the catholic church.

Perhaps not harems, just a lot of mistresses. Not the same thing.

“fundamentalism” is no better exemplified than the Institution of the supreme Catholic papacy itself

Perhaps pope Francis might wish to reconsider his allergy to the fundamentals of the church

Hey, Maybe he’ll “abdicate?!” Now there’s an idea for Pope Francis!?

The idea that no one interpreted the Bible "literally" until "rednecks" reacted negatively to Darwinism is a lie. It is a blatant, open lie that can easily disproved by reading ancient Jewish and Xian literature. But still people keep saying this, turning "literal" interpretation into a genetic-ethnic characteristic of one specific and universally despised people. This is then used to condemn the "literal" interpretation as heresy.

Many Xian and Jewish apologists confuse "literalism"/total inerrancy with total sufficiency ("sola scriptura"). Since these traditions reject "sola scriptura" (quite wisely), they then attach total inerrancy to it so that the false idea will take the true idea with it when it is discredited.

Of course this isn't what his hollowness is talking about, but the "conservative" Catholics and Orthodox have paved the way by demonizing "fundamentalism" for a hundred years, insisting that the idea of total inerrancy is somehow inherently Protestant. Shame on every one of them.

I hope all the "conservative Catholics" who have spent their lifetimes ridiculing fundamentalists/rednecks/brain-dead Bibliolators/snake handlers/Billy Bob's Glory Barn enjoy what they have brought on themselves. It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people! What do you expect when your Church can "baptize" totem poles but it can't "baptize" Genesis??? You deserve this!

When all the "true apostolic" churches go down the drain, the Old Regular Baptists in Appalachia will still be here. No, they weren't actually there at the beginning, but all those folks who claim they were won't be around to argue the point.

For the sake of peace, please, in every religious tradition let us defuse the temptation to fundamentalism and every tendency to view a brother or sister as an enemy.

But let's exalt one particular church council above all others, pretend that that isn't a form of the "fundamentalism" we condemn, and then view the brothers and sisters who aren't on board with that as enemies. /s

The hypocrisy is breath-taking.
