I thought if you were sinning you couldn’t get communion. being for abortion is a sin against God, and not a small one. Biden is willfully supporting killing humans.

Catholic also. And agree with you. Biden’s actions alone declare that he is NOT a Catholic. Apparently neither is the Priest who has decided to give him Communion.
I say this because you know if this were you or I, that Priest would NOT give us Communion. We are playing by two different sets of rules.
Yes. You may not take the sacrament if you are in mortal sin as Biden is (according to Church teachings). It appears that we play by two different sets of rules in this parish, because if I were to declare that I supported abortion in all forms, as Biden, I bet that not only would I be denied the sacrament, but my relationship in that parish would be in a bit of hot water.
If you thought getting into the Priesthood was an easy job, you're in the wrong profession.
In other words the easy way out is to let people go to hell.
Sure the priest would give “you or I” communion, if he’s a Francis-priest. They just don’t care about the Blessed Sacrament.
