Scientists are pushing new ethical boundaries with human-animal experimentation. My dad said he remembers some Italian's back in the late 1980's claiming to have fertilized a human-monkey embryo.

That’s just lovely. Now we’ll have Dems who after tiring of figuratively throwing poo all day will start tossing the real stuff.

Insoo Hyun, a bioethicist at Case Western Reserve University and Harvard University, defended the experiment, telling NPR that thousands of people die every year in the U.S. because they cannot get an organ transplant.“It’s aimed at lofty humanitarian goals,” Hyun said.
Ahh yes, let us discuss lofty goals and original intent.
The Forteenth Amendment to the US Constitution was originally intended to guarantee freed American slaves equal rights of citizenship.
Since its ratification it has become the Swiss Army Knife of amendments used to, among other things give citizenship to the child of any foreigner who happens to be on US territory at the time of giving birth, regardless of that woman’s legal status in the country.
Yes, good intensions are wonderful but they don’t mean beans to what purposes others may put to product of those actions are put by others.
