Rev 21: 9 Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.
Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Revelation 21:2).
It is here on earth, new Jerusalem.
Matt 25: 5 As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. 6 But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. 11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.
Marriage Feast begins when the Lord returns, at midnight. The millennium reign begins right after midnight, a new day in new resurrected bodies in a new Jerusalem ... where heavenly Jerusalem comes down to earthly Jerusalem and is 1500 miles (12,000 furlongs) in every direction including up and down. Some think it the perimeter, I think it is in every direction, we shall see right?
A look at all scriptures Rev 19 and 21 in particular, lead me to believe the marriage feast is a 1000 years long and so is wedding ceremony. From start of Jesus reign in New Jerusalem lasting the whole 1000 years till the final judgement. In Hebrew culture the marriage starts with the betrothal, they are husband and wife a whole year before the ceremony and wedding feast. That fits with scripture on the Lamb’s Church Bride wedding as we are already called his bride.
The wedding ceremony starts therefore before wedding feast, and both ceremony and wedding feast last 1000 years. It is not a short affair. The bride is all who in their earthly physical bodies receive Jesus through his good news proposal, from beginning to end and the door however is shut to the foolish unprepared who claim to be of his bride but they are not, just like the goats who do not do unto the Lord by not doing onto the least of these as prophesied in Matt 25 (this will be most in the church today), and the power hungry liars of Matt 7 who Jesus said he never knew, and the wolves and dogs and false prophets and false teachers. The angels will pluck them all out and the Lord casts them into Hell...even as they cry out, “Lord Lord....!” thinking they are saved waiting to be rescued.
The Bride of Christ looks just like him and obey him in love of him through faith of his great grace.
John describes the Bride thusly. 1 John 3: 1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.
His Bride is like Him the Bridegroom Lord Jesus Christ.
Hell is far more terrible, dark and tormenting than anything on earth.
Earth’s darkness, and hate and evil and violence pales in comparison to the lake of fire and the eternal absence of God and his grace which continues on earth till the end of man and is seen in every life though few recognize it or are thankful to him for it.
We all breathe each breath by God’s grace and his rain falls on all of us. Remove God’s grace on earth for one millisecond and everyone instantly dies. God and his grace is not anywhere in Hell ! You do not seem to understand what scripture reveals about Hell.
