There is a priest in prison in New Hampshire, Fr Gordon McRae. He insists that he is absolutely innocent of the crimes of molestation with of which he was convicted. He has been told multiple times that he could be paroled if he would only admit that he was guilty, but he refuses to lie, so he remains in prison. He will probably die there.
God have mercy. It is really scary. Because if you are innocent and you don’t accept a plea deal you can be so horribly punished.
