Yes, they do. What are the saints all about. Why not pray directly to God? Mary seems to have more significance that Jesus.

He’s got it exactly backwards. The scary thing is, he knows it. He’s not dumb. He knows exactly what he’s doing by ginning up political and racial hatred.
You are spouting pentecostal propaganda. There is a significant fundamental difference in the theology between the two sides relating to intercessory prayer. Both sides have reasoned positions, but the pentecostals have devolved into name calling and misstating the Catholic beliefs.
Again, why not pray directly to God. Why pray a man created deity. A deity that the Catholic bureaucracy, a bunch of flawed men, deemed worthy of being God like and being worshipped the same. Mankind has no authority, no right to do this. It is sacrilegious. It is very wrong.
It is also one of the ten commandments.

Have you actually studied the catechism, or only the works published by those opposed to the Catholic church? I am pentecostal, but have actually studied what their theology says (as opposed to what some of their own leadership misstate about it).

Like all similar Christian like religions that deviates from the Bible, the simple text of the Bible is not enough, apparently it is inadequate, and needs to be added to and embellished with ritual and it's own man created dogma and it is designed to create a power structure that enslaves it followers and keeps them in poverty. It also gives non believers an excuse and example for why to not believe.
Here is a very good resource for general information about how Jews perceive Christians and more specifically Catholics. These followers Jesua were driven away by Catholics because we all know that “the Jews murdered Christ.” Some of these converts thought that Christ was Catholic. They are shocked to find out that Jesus was Jewish and that the new testament is a continuation of the old testament.
There has been an adversarial relationship between the Catholic Church and Judaism.
