Jesus said he would return as a thief in the night. Nobody is going to get any warning. There are no unique “sign of end times” that will tell us when Jesus will return. None. It is a guessing game. Don’t even try to guess at it.

Here Jesus is telling us the general signs related to His soon appearing, but He also made it clear, that the exact day and hour was unknown.

Just because the exact day and hour are unknown, does not mean we cannot discern the general times. Otherwise you make Him out to be a liar because Matthew 24 is all about the general signs of His near return.

Yes, history has unrolled so that signs of the end times are always present. However, the signs are more evident as time goes by.

For instance, we have major leaders in the U.S. bringing up the idea of a universal identification in the guise of who has taken the vaccine. Only those would be allowed to fully participate in commerce. This is the first time, that I am aware of, in history where such a sign could be implemented on a global scale.

I am of the opinion that ALL of the prophecies in the bible MUST come to pass and fulfillment before the end times. On a personal level, that means that I need to be far more worried about MY world ending than THE world ending.

What you say is 100% true and I’m not setting dates and neither is anybody else here regarding His Return.

That said, He gave us multiple verses in Scripture about what life would be like on this blue ball when He again catastrophically intervenes in mankind’s affairs.

Both scriptures refer to incidents as a “thief in the night” catching everybody off guard.
