Il papa, the *vicar of christ can hammer all day long, but the anvil which is the body of born again believers will never be extinguished, as Christ is the Head of the body and the Chief Cornerstone and the gates of Hell will never prevail against the church.
Revelation 18:1-5

*Vicar of Christ refers to the belief that the Pope is Christ’s replacement or representative here on earth, thus the ring kissing, bowing before, etc. This goes against this passage (I usually wouldn’t use this version, but it says the same thing as my King James Bible:

This is a terrible thing to see. But it is what it is. The Church is led by a heretic and the hierarchy seems complicit.
Leaving was the right decision, though difficult. I cannot support this version of the Church. Fortunately, no human is required to be in between a soul and God.
