Because Benedict is still alive- he is the real pope (still).
I wonder what he does every day? If Francis died is Benedict in charge for a while?
Okay, I’m not Catholic. But I have to wonder what true Catholics think about this South American communist Pope? He sounds and behaves more like Fidel or Che than a successor of St. Peter. No wonder the Church is dying for lack of believers.

This is the very Pope who is going to merge with the new “climate god” the one prophesied by MANY to be in cahoots with THE antichrist. The rock star of the left. I’m starting to look up in hopeful expectation because I know our redemption draws nigh. I can’t wait for the Pope to make just ONE more comment on “climate change” instead of the urgent issues of the world that are rooted in reality. It will seal it for me. Poor Benedict, he got shafted in more ways than one and has to just sit on his sore butt and watch. Smart Catholics see what is going on. They need not worry, the Lord will not forsake them.
He seems to have had the effect on the Church as well. Pope Francis is polarizing the Church. One faction thinks he is the Savior of the Church, heaven sent to lead it into a new golden era, the other faction firmly believes The Pope has been sent from anyplace but heaven to lead the Church into Apostasy and ruin
Spot on, but I do think he does understand what he’s doing.
I think he understands quite well the office of false prophet. He is doing a great job abs leading the catholic church into apostasy at the same time.
Just what we need...more UNaccountable bureaucrats to mess up the planet. Perhaps the jihadis can do the killing for you pope. They’re definitely supranational.
