I analyze Surah XXIII: The Believers, and explain Mohammed's erroneous view of the Resurrection. I also explore the difference between Islam's idea of mercy and the true mercy displayed by Jesus.
Not as long as Muslims, for example, kill women for such things as wearing the wrong clothes.
The best description I’ve heard of Allah’s mercy is from a guy who left Islam and said that you can do all the good things, be a “super muslim” and yet be sent to Hell.
Understand: Islam is NOT a religion of grace, but of works, and yet works do not save in Islam unless they are murder based (jihad). There is no assurance.
The Lord, the real God and not the Islamic pretender, gave Grace through His only begotten Son and with it assurance that even though our works do not save Christ’s work does.
The only mercy Islam offers is a quick death for its victims.
Someone please set me straight if need be, because I see “allah” as a false god. A god made up over time to counter the True God of the Jewish people and Christians. My brother got mad at me when I would not pause in respect for the calling to prayers by the guy warbling from the tower in Bahrain.
There is no Allah but Satan, and Muhammad was his murdering pedophile.
Satan has no mercy except maybe for a quick death.
Islam, allah, koran, mad mo etc. are all demonic and of the devil.
Oh...and toss in America’s new communist (RAT) party....they’re no better.
unfortunately that quick death is followed by eternal torment
No.
Moslems call Allah “merciful” in hopes of placating him, something like folk used to call cruel and mischeveous faeries “the good folk.”
According to the Koran, Allah is the "God of Abraham". Early on, Mohammad admired the Jews and Christians because they had a book. "People of the Book". Being illiterate, he didn't quite get it when he created his cult, tailor made for camel bandits. He had scribes record his words so they would have their own Book. The hatred for Jews and Christians came later in Mo's career.
That's my understanding, in a nutshell. The consensus in the West seems to be that Allah is not Jehova, but Mohammad thought so.
Its sort of a generic word for god, pre-Islam there was a pagan moon god in the area referred to as Allah. I am pretty sure in the Orthodox Christian Syrian liturgical language Allah is used for God. This use also predates Islam.
Islam is a bad violent copy & synthesis of several religious groups in the that area of the world.
According to the Koran, Allah is the “God of Abraham”. Early on, Mohammad admired the Jews and Christians because they had a book.
************
Unfortunately the G-d of Abraham, Issac, Ishmael, and Judah was “El”, not “Allah”.
“Allah” is the moon god created in Babylon and exported to the Arabian Peninsula, when Babylonian king Nabuna’id retired himself in Arabia and settled his residence in Teyma, leaving his son Belshatzar to rule in Babylon.
Mohammad’s father was a priest of Allah, and the idol representing the moon god was in the Kaaba (large square building black enclosure in Mecca), along with other pagan idols, and a black stone (meteorite).
Mohammad went out from Mecca conquering in the name of the moon god, whose emblem was a crescent moon, requiring all to face the Kaaba and worship.
Hence Hebrews (Judah being one of the twelve tribes) and Christians worship “El”, also known as Jehovah, Elohim, Adonai, YHWH, or The Great I Am. All names referring back to “El”. None of these names refer to the moon god worshipped by Mohammad.
Thank you Chuckster. That’s the best explanation, in a nutshell, that I have heard yet
Allah is not merciful, but the Christian GOD is
In essence, yes.
Or any other day for that matter for he is a false god.
I can give you chapter and verse of 33 instances recorded in the Old Testament when G-d himself killed people, from onesies and twosies all the way up to killing everyone on earth except Noah and his family. Not to mention the times when he ordered his killing done for him, to the point of genocide, such as when the Israelites took Canaan land.
How does Allah match up to that?
