O Lord, You live, and blessed are You, our Rock; and may the God of our salvation, be exalted! Let us rejoice in Your faithfulness; and in Your Holy Name may we set up our banners. For You, Lord, fulfill all our petitions. You save Your anointed and You hear us from Your holy heaven with the saving strength of Your right hand. We remember Your Name this day, Dear Lord. It is the Name above all names---worthy of all praise. We worship You in spirit and in truth on this beautiful Lord’s Day.
Lord, we ask You to help our nation repent of its sin. Help us to stop denying the sins that we are committing and to confront face to face everything that has drawn us away from You. Show us where we have set up idols and placed them above You. We are in great need of Your guidance, for we have departed from the path You have set before us. Show us how to come back to You, Lord---how to depart from evil and to pursue Your presence and peace.
Lord God, our Healer, please help our President to be an instrument of Your peace as our nation suffers the wounds of mass shootings in the past few weeks. Unite us through Your love and grace. Please give our President the strength to prevail against all those who seek his ruin. May he continue to pursue Your will and walk in the ways of righteousness that You have set before him.
Father, may our military men and women operate in the power and authority You have given to those who believe, so that many signs and wonders shall follow them. Lord, this is the life of triumph, power, and authority that You have made possible for us. We ask You to help all our precious service men and women to walk in the victory You provided them through Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Lord, please let repentance begin with the Church. You have shown us the signs that should follow us: casting out devils, speaking with new tongues, being instruments of healing for those in bondage of any kind. The assignment has been issued to us. Lord, let us not run from it, but embrace it! Help us to incline our hearts to You and to Your Word, that we may be examples of Your love and truth. We have a responsibility to be salt and light in these dark times. Help us to answer the call, Lord God. In the powerful Name of Jesus Christ we ask these things. Amen.
