Dude....protestant verses? What in the wide world of sports are you talking about?

A student of the Bible should know the history of the Bible.

The person credited with dividing the Bible into chapters is Stephen Langton, the Archbishop of Canterbury from 1207-1228. While Langton’s isn’t the only organizational scheme that was devised, it is his chapter breakdown that has survived.

Robert Estienne, verse numbering pioneer. But while chapters are a useful organizational tool, the ability to refer to specific phrases within those chapters would make the system even more usable. Robert Stephanus (aka Robert Estienne) created a verse numbering system in the mid-16th century and was the first person to print a Bible with verse numbers in each chapter.

Stephen Langton (c. 1150 – 9 July 1228) was an English Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and Archbishop of Canterbury between 1207 and his death in 1228. The dispute between King John of England and Pope Innocent III over his election was a major factor in the crisis which produced Magna Carta in 1215. Cardinal Langton is also credited with having divided the Bible into the standard modern arrangement of chapters used today.

Robert I Estienne (French: [etjɛn]; 1503 – 7 September 1559), known as Robertus Stephanus in Latin[1] and sometimes referred to as Robert Stephens[2][3] or Roberti Stephani[4] was a 16th-century printer and classical scholar in Paris was the proprietor of the Estienne print shop after the death of his father Henri Estienne, the founder of the Estienne printing firm. Estienne published and republished many classical texts as well as Greek and Latin translations of the Bible. Known as "Printer to the King" in Latin, Hebrew, and Greek, Estienne's most prominent work was the Thesaurus linguae latinae which is considered to be the foundation of modern Latin lexicography. Additionally, he was the first to print the New Testament divided into standard numbered verses.

He was a former Catholic who became a Protestant late in his life.

The proud fool trusts science to verify apparitional deceptions, which the fool ought to know can be twisted by the Prince of the Powers of The Air. Pride is at the heart of such foolishness.

“Simple logic “ought” to inform you of that,”

Well simply understanding of the Holy Scriptures should tell you that once Jesus was taken up to heaven that His body and blood will only come back with Him in His second coming when His feet touch the Mount of Olives, Zechariah 14:4.

Your logic is flawed because of your flesh, but the Holy Word of God is always truth.

“The Apostle Paul loved the roman church and wrote that it had much to offer, even to him.”

But it wasn’t the roman church that you call the roman church because Paul didn’t need any infallible instruction from your so called pope peter, Gal 1:11-12 & 17, 1 Cor 3:4.

There wasn’t any Mary worship, tooth worship, mummy/corpse worship, or acceptable kneeling, bowing, or kissing of a man going on either, Acts 14:15. The Roman Church Paul planted was a truth Christian Church of born again believers not the pagan corporate business you call the roman church.

“Hating Catholicism /= Christianity”

Satan uses the same tactic as you are using with the homosexual groups. If I preach the Gospel and tell a non-repentant homo they are sinning and in danger of the hellfire I get the same response... YOU just hate us.

So for you to use that same language is completely expected because he was a lair from the beginning.

The Roman Church Paul planted ...

There is no textual evidence in the scriptures that the Apostle Paul planted the Church in Rome. In his letter to the Church in Rome, the apostles writes that their faith was already spoken of throughout the whole world. Further he wrote that we intended to come visit them but had so far not been able. From which tradition or faith community does one derive the teaching that Paul planted the Church in Rome ? From his writings, he had not even watered it yet.

Hating Catholicism /= Christianity

  • But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
  • This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
  • For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
  • But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
  • Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
  • Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
  • Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
  • But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
  • Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
  • And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
  • If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
  • Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Galatians, Catholic chapter five, Protestant verses fifteen to twenty six,
as authorized, but not authored, by King James

I've already read probably 100x the content of his amateurish little diatribe.

And yet; you STILL ignore the PLAIN words of Jesus: Call no man father.

Humanity has advanced enough that they can read a few words of His Script.

I see....

I've read this and STILL wonder what it means!!!

 2 Corinthians 1:13-14
13. For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that,
14. as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.

I’ll go with the evidence, thank you.

Heck; I'd be happy just to SEE the evidence you allude to here!

Where are Protestantism's scientifically validated miracles??

Where is the NEED for PROTs to even NEED such stuff to prove it's churches are true?
