True victory is achieved in life's spiritual war (Eph. 6:12) when a person puts all of his or her faith and trust in the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Person of Almighty God and His PERFECT will for their lives! The very One who holds ETERNITY in His glorified risen nail-pierced hands is ALL you will EVER need in this life and the one to come (Rev. 1:17-18)! As your Risen and Glorified High Priest, Good Shepherd, Commander in Chief, Wonderful Concealer, Mighty Shield, Mighty Two-Edged Sword, Yes and Amen, your ALL and ALL, etc.. etc.. for EVER and EVER and EVER! We are PERFECTLY in Him; "good to go" for what Satan and this world will throw at us (Rom. 8:26-39, 1 John 4:4)!
As sons of Almighty God and believers in Jesus Christ, we can - by faith - get through the adversity and calamity that comes our way, knowing that Almighty God indeed loves us and has a GREAT ETERNAL plan for us to make us ETERNAL winners for His Glory and Namesake; and not casualties and losers in Almighty God's good fight here in time (Rom. 8:29)! Listen to Almighty God's wonderful promises to us and for us in Christ Jesus the RISEN ETERNAL Son of God: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:26); "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Cor. 15:58)"; But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Heb. 11:6); But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1 Cor. 2:9), and in the end and FOREVER; And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever (Rev. 22:5)!
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him!
Dear friends, Almighty God has a wonderful plan for us; which - by faith - activates and opens the ETERNAL treasure house of ALL that Almighty God ETERNALLY is! It is then that we will begin to experience the wonders of Almighty God's sufficiency and personal ETERNAL love for us (Rom. 5:5, 2 Cor. 3:4-6, Phil. 4:7, 1 John 3:1)! Beloved, as we do so; we will enter in the realms of personal experience with our ETERNAL Savior that will begin to transform our lives; We will humbly and joyfully see and experience His MIGHTY working in our lives as we are changed from glory to wonderous glory (Matt. 28:20b, Rom. 8:29; 2 Cor. 3:18, 1 John 4:4)!
In these last days before our Saviors glorious return for His bride (John 14:3), may we be strong and of good courage and have faith in Almighty God! May we see - with the eyes of faith - past this physical world into the very throne room of Heaven, and be more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus for His glory and honor (1 Cor. 10:31).
'Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place" (2 Cor. 2:14).
Remember, Beloved: "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because (i.e., ETERNALLY) greater is he (i.e., the Risen ETERNAL Son of Almighty God) that is in you [i.e., Jesus Christ] than he [i.e., Satan, the defeated and fallen and his minions] that is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
That wonderful truth alone should radically change our lives and humble us with great humblings!
The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
Thanks for posting
Good news! Thank you for the encouragement. Bless you.
But the fisherman didn’t stay ignorant, obviously... or maybe this is an irony talking about how the world sees the fisherman.
The more we look at The ETERNAL GOD the more we know we are ETERNALdopes!
1 Cor. 1:16-32
But we are not bidden to wallow in that.
