Agreed.
So, to the Christians in Morocco, the pope advised not to proselytize but, instead, to focus on dialog in other ways. That might not work at all, either. But at least he's not telling those Christians to become martyrs.
We have more than enough Christian martyrs spread across the face of the planet from North Korea to the UK. I do not want to see any more added. Unfortunately we will. In my pilgrimage I continue to seek new info on how to proselytize to Muslims. I have not found anything, yet, that gives me hope. We know Muslims convert to Christianity all the time at great risk to their lives. At this moment, the evangelists who seem to be having the best chance at getting the gospel into Muslim lands are those who missionize over the internet.
Another poster pointed out that early missionaries risked their lives to bring the Gospel to North America.
I was thinking to myself: yes, but they didn't have the options we have today. They had to travel to carry their message.
Now your post makes that point, that there are other methods of communication, other vehicles for spreading the message. So, agreed completely! Good luck with your mission. Blessings...
Don’t we have another pope?
Sure haven't heard them preaching much about Him in their socialist activism....
He just threw one of the prime directives of Christianity under the bus.
