Dolan should resign if he is going to stay silent and let Cuomo kill babies.
One wonders how the Apostles would have dealt with a Church-member who advocated for laws encouraging adultery, infanticide, or homosexuality.
According to scripture, you’d meet privately to allow the person to “save face”.
If that didn’t work, then you would not allow the person to affiliate with your church-community. Hence the justification for excommunication. The notion that people “excommunicate” themselves is a lame attempt to pass a leadership responsibility to a the individual...it’s cowardice.

Dolan is pulling a James Comey. He published an OpEd talking about how terrible, insulting, immoral it all is. Then he says in essence “but no reasonable cleric would excommunicateor do anything, really.”
I never thought of that.
If Dolan is a boy-buggerer, or has covered up for any, then he is a criminal under the law.
Perhaps Cuomo knows and has that hanging over Dolan’s head.
In either case, Dolan needs to confess his sins, repent, resign his position, and then turn himself over to law enforcement.
These catholic leaders are like deamoncrats, there’s nothing too disgusting for them to take a real stand. Of course they don’t exactly have a decent track record for protecting children anyway.

Cuomo has effectively excommunicated himself. What we need at this point is a parishioner at whatever church he attends to film Cuomo receiving the Eucharist, and then posting it on line.

I’m with you. Dolen is a failure as well as the Pope. Our Church has an unused convent where they are housing illegals, for their further trip to who knows where. I’ve stoped all giving to the Diocese.
