I wonder. What would it take for them to realize how rotten things have gotten and finally leave? It didnt take much for me to leave the one true church. I just recognized the pure lifestyle of the true believers, and I knew I didnt have it, so I joined them. 😁😇

Keep shouting. Perhaps she is asleep. Or maybe persuing
Maybe she is studying Protestant theology, with the idea of leaving. 😁👍

The hidden minor premise in the writer’s postulation is equating the Catholic Church with Jesus Christ.
Leaving the Catholic Church does not equate with leaving Jesus Christ.

Leaving the Catholic Church does not equate with leaving Jesus Christ. You are correct sir. I experienced exactly that, as did others. 👍🙏
By the way, we had a bad earthquake yesterday. It was centered east of here, near Mati. About 10 seconds of swaying, but everything still works. A friends wife was visiting relatives in Mati at the time. He has not been able to contact her. Pray for them.

The faithful are right to be especially angry and hurt since they entrust to the clergys care the thing they most need to be saved: their faith. There's the first problem to correct - we entrust our faith to the care of the one in whom we HAVE our faith - Jesus Christ. He will never disappoint or discourage us.

Gates are defensive, not offensive. Gates never attack anyone. What Jesus means there is that when His body, the TRUE body of born again believers, presses forward and engages in spiritual warfare, the enemy will be defeated. They cannot stand against the offensive actions of the church waging spiritual warfare in power. Exactly! Plus...the Gates of Hell will never be able to keep in the souls that are seeking to know the truth. The Gospel will penetrate those gates and break them down, freeing everyone that wants to follow Jesus Christ.

You sure??? I can only go by the info that Rome has delivered to me; namely:
Revelation 21:23 And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. Its gates will never be shut by day and there will be no night there. People will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.

All you good Catholics need to rise up and demand the purging of the corruption, with extreme prejudice. Do it at your local level and work up to the Vatican.
I see it starting in North Hollywood. Way to go! Get Cdl. Mahony and all those he protected prosecuted and jailed.
I see state participation in New Jersey and other states. That’s good, but the lay people of the Catholic church really need to be immersed in this purge.

If the thing you have faith in is a rotting religion, ...
buddha was neither a genuine apostle or prophet. Salvation is of the Jews (not the Samaritans) and the Church that the Messiah built on the Jewish apostles and prophets will endure against the gates of hell.

Always about the Roman Church. Never about Christ.️
To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

I think this is probably where the idea came from about St. Peter manning the pearly gates of heaven (see Revelation 21:21) along with the passage where Jesus gives Peter the "keys to the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 16:19).
Are there gates in heaven?
the "gates of heaven" is a common expression. These are spiritual gates. Another Answer: Twelve gates are in the New Testament Book of Revelation, chapter 21 describes a 'new' Jerusalem coming to a new Earth where God will dwell with His new family of billions of sons and daughters:
Revelation 21:12-14 New International Version (NIV)
It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. http://www.answers.com/Q/What_are_the_names_of_the_12_gates_of_heaven

Ah, the good old days in Rome, before that church polluted itself with paganism and the mystery religions.
Back before they added to Scripture, before they asked all other churches to bow to Rome, before indulgences were sold.
Way back when every believer in Rome was a saint, when the Scripture authority was help up, and when the words of Paul about salvation by faith, apart from human effort was believed.
All the way back to when the Roman church was a Christian church and her candlestick was lit.

"Paul, an apostlenot from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead 2 and all the brothers who are with me, To the ***churches*** of Galatia:" So according to the argument that you're apparently using, Rome is NOT any kind of 'One True Church.'

Galatians 1:1-3 Paul, an apostlenot from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead and all the brothers who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
Ephesians 1:1-2 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

False
Rome is a prima facie New Testament church, as it is written, one spoken of throughout the world of the one holy catholic apostolic Church. There is no such evidence for the Reformation faith communities in the world.

There is no scriptural evidence for that position, that the Church at Rome ever had its candlestick removed by the Messiah. On the contrary, no one has advanced another group of churches that are holy, catholic (universal, according to the whole), apostolic (continuous from the time of the Jewish Apostles until this day), and historical (evident throughout the world (not invisible and hidden). There are no alternatives that fit this criteria.
