Several branches of the New York YWCA put their support behind legislation Tuesday that could permanently legalize the killing of unborn babies in the state.
Fearing the future of Roe v. Wade may be at stake, leaders of the YWCA Niagara Frontier and YWCA Western New York publicly came out in support of a New York state bill that would keep abortions legal if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns the infamous case, the Lockport Journal reports.
At no time in our recent past has it been more critical for New York State officials to put aside partisanship in order to ensure that the fundamental reproductive rights of women are protected within New York State. We cannot afford to sit idly by as womens rights continue to erode. New York State must take a stand, said Maureen Hammett, chair of the YWCA Western New York board of directors.
The YWCA leaders claimed efforts to protect unborn babies from abortion are part of a larger erosion of the rights of women, according to the report.
They also said they support protecting access to the full range of reproductive health services for women, supposedly abortions for basically any reason through all nine months of pregnancy.
Their announcement came a week after pro-abortion Gov. Andrew Cuomo also urged the state legislature to pass a radical pro-abortion bill that would keep abortion on demand legal if Roe is overturned. Surrounded by abortion activists at a rally last week, Cuomo said the Reproductive Health Act would protect abortion rights in the New York Constitution, according to News 12 Westchester.
Mark my words, they are moving to roll back Roe v. Wade, that is going to be the next move by this president, Cuomo said of President Donald Trump and his nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh. They say it. Its not like you have to read the tea leaves.
This is a pro-life justice who I believe, theres no question, will overturn Roe v. Wade, Cuomo added.
The AP reports Cuomo went so far as to urge the state Senate to come back early from its summer break to pass the pro-abortion legislation. The bill passed the state Assembly, but approval seems unlikely in the Republican-controlled state Senate.

You either come back and protect a womans right to choose and respect a womans reproductive health rights, the governor said, WSHU reports. Or the voters are going to say to you in November, Youre with Trump? Well, youre fired from the New York State Senate.
The YWCA, or the Young Womens Christian Association, has a history of abortion advocacy. Some of its branches work with Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion group in America. In 2008, the YWCA also backed a radical pro-abortion bill that would have overturned virtually all pro-life laws and instituted abortion on demand.
The YWCA is on Life Decisions Internationals Boycott List, which which identifies groups that support or partner with Planned Parenthood.
I was aware of this over 20 years ago. Not a good place for young girls.
What about the health of unborn baby women?

Their governor called for all conservatives to leave his state.

Change their name to YWNA. The N stands for NAZIS. Oh wait even they didn’t Murder their own Babies.
What does the “C” stand for now, “commie”?
YMCA is almost as bad. They are anything but Christian anymore.
The YWCA is as bad as The Girl Scouts. And the Girl Scouts wonder why so many girls want to be Boy Scouts.
The “C” disappeared out of YWCA a long time ago. It’s also now disappeared out of YMCA.
Details, details.
I saw a bumper sticker once that said, *It’s easy to be pro-abortion when you’re not the one being killed*
Sick and evil.
YWCA = Young Women Condoning Abortion
You Will Commit Abortion. The new YWCA acronym.
Good one!
