Rex, I’m going to ask the Religion Moderator to remove your comment. You do not profess the Catholic Faith and you are violating the Catholic Caucus by posting here.
Get off the thread.
This is a catholic caucus; please do not mention non-Catholics.
“So, Im really supposed to believe that a guy riding around on a camel 2,000 years ago was the son of God?!”
Well, I do not know “this guy riding round on a camel 2,000 years ago.” However, I do know the man who walked throughout the Holy Land and rode a colt donkey down the hill into Jerusalem 2,000 year ago. His name was Jesus the Christ, son of the living God, who taught us the way, the truth and the life.
Faith is a gift from God via the Holy Spirit. Some of us have received that gift, and some have not. My recommendation to you is study and prayer so that you too may receive the gift of Faith.
He said He would never leave His Church - even with the gates of hell monkeying around with it.
Gee. All the people mentioned were baptized Catholics.
A few of them were responsible for initiating new religions and are associated with those religions more so than the Catholic religion.
Please honor the caucus and don’t break it.
**Pray an Our Father now for the restoration of the Church.**
And keep praying day after day. Offer your Mass and Communion for the Church. Dedicate your Rosary to saving the Church, etc. Novenas and Litanies — use them!
Sorry, but a lot of us older pew sitting Catholics are tired of supporting the church and financing the ultra liberal Cardinals and Bishops. The collections from the Parishes in my Diocese are down 50% {FIFTY} during the past 10 years. We are tired of paying for way the for Dolan, Cupich, McCarrick, etc. while Parishes can barely keep the doors open.
As always, the best way to clean the Church of heresy is to pray for truth. It will set you free from the one who occupies the chair at the moment. Light always destroys darkness.
That "inner circle" is quite large.
And it has existed and grown ever since Pope St. Pius X died.
And it has existed and grown ever since Pope St. Pius X died.
I don't believe so.
Whatever circle is inner now has a long history. Benedict XV and Pius XI were very good—I don’t think things went from being great under Pius X to being thoroughly trashed under Benedict XV.
My argument is that a once outer circle has become the most innermost circle with the current pope in the middle of it.
