He was riding a wave before the wedding. He was getting extra special perks from Welby, the Arhbishop of Canterbury, for at least the past two years. The Archbishop of Nigeria (a fellow black) saw through it last year and made a protest why he was allowed to attend a group, including Welby, to the Vatican. Curry and Welby are thick as thieves. It wasn’t happenstance he was chosen to co-officiate the wedding. Too many perks for a new member of the elite. He was only elected bishop and primate of the Episcopal Church in June 2015.

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of “salvation” in the afterlife is superseded by “liberation” on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity.
They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle.
These “liberation theologians” saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

Patriarch Kirill, who today heads Russian Orthodox Church, secretly worked for the KGB under the code name “Mikhailov” and spent some 40 years promoting liberation theology.
Ion Mihai Pacepa, the highest-ranking Soviet-bloc official ever to defect to the West, writes: “Liberation theology has been generally understood to be a marriage of Marxism and Christianity.
What has not been understood is that it was not the product of Christians who pursued Communism, but of Communists who pursued Christians....
Its genesis was part of a highly classified Party/State Disinformation Program, formally approved in 1960 by KGB chairman Aleksandr Shelepin and Politburo member Aleksei Kirichenko, then the second in the party hierarchy after Nikita Khrushchev.”
Adds Pacepa: “In 1971, the KGB sent Kirill — who had just been elevated to the rank of archimandrite — to Geneva as emissary of the Russian Orthodox Church to the World Council of Churches.... Kirill/Mikhailov’s main task was to involve the WCC in spreading the new liberation theology throughout Latin America.
In 1975, the KGB was able to infiltrate Kirill into the Central Committee of the WCC — a position he held until he was “elected” patriarch of Russia, in 2009.
Not long after he joined the Central Committee, Kirill reported to the KGB: ‘Now the agenda of the WCC [World Council of Churches] is also our agenda.’”

I wouldn’t buy anything from a group of racists. All black choir. The regular church choir was more inclusive with various races and they weren’t bused in to make a political point. Notice all the extra actors at the ceremony were black. Not Asian. Not Hispanic. Not anything but black. Slap in the face to all those who believe the happy couple are one worlders.
“I believe” these are the very religious leaders who will lead their flocks to slaughter.

Many of my good, Conservative friends loved this guy’s sermon and the way he presented it. Sort of an ‘in-your-face’ to the Royal Family. I KNEW he would use their status to gain a lofty position in this country.....and SURPRISE, he is. I attended a few Methodist churches in SoCal when we lived there. I had to leave 3 due to the politicization of the churches. This will not end well for those who use Jesus for politics.
