A true Roman Catholic speaks, at last. Thanks be to God for this good man.

We must pray for the pope’s conversion. He has now been catechized. Next is the voice of the cardinals and bishops? Will they, too, speak as Catholics, as truthfully as our theologian friend has done, here?

The gate which leads to salvation is narrow. Jesus says so.

"Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in thereat. How narrow is the gate, and strait is the way that leadeth to life: and few there are that find it!"
[Matthew 7:13-14]

"Strive to enter by the narrow gate; for many, I say to you, shall seek to enter, and shall not be able."
[Luke 13:24]

Too much energy and effort is being spent in this pontificate in attacking that gate with a crow bar and sledgehammer in order to try and widen it in the name of "mercy". A good pastor leads the sheep towards that narrow gate and guides them through. The gate cannot be widened. The mercy of Francis is a false, faithless mercy which seeks to destroy the gate through which the sheep must pass, while allowing the sheep to wander where they will in the name of "accompaniment".

He is not a true shepherd but a hireling.
