They haven’t avoided any demons.

They are infested with them.

Honestly, this stuff reads more like the Babylon Bee than reality. Sadly, it IS reality and there are gullible patsies who fall for it hook, line, and sinker and send him their money so he can live the free and easy life at other’s expense.

What a racket.

I couldn’t lie and rip off people, especially using religion.

So to “Help him avoid having to contend with “demons” that travel on commercial airlines.” Shouldn’t that be a fertile mission field for him? Plenty of lost souls that need to hear the gospel?

Exactly.

Jesus NEVER shrank from a confrontation with the demonic.

The Congresswoman from Houston demon is one of the scariest you will ever see on a commercial flight. She will literally use her powers to throw you out of your first class seat.

I can remember when the Worldwide Church of God (Armstrongism) was flying TWO aircraft, one for Herbie, and one for Garner Ted.

Thieves and charlatans indeed.

This story has gone viral in the mainstream liberal media, all over the planet.

One selfish idiot can really set back the work of evangelization by quite a bit.

Ken,

The Lord told me that I should give you a check to match what I spent on my Learjet. Enclosed is a check for $0.00. Hope that helps.

Luke 16:13 “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Mammon /ˈmæmən/ in the New Testament of the Bible is commonly thought to mean money, material wealth, or any entity that promises wealth, and is associated with the greedy pursuit of gain. "You cannot serve both God and mammon."

Pathetic. That people fall for false prophets like him is really sad.

(A side note: that’s photoshopped. Notice how the sun is hitting him and the GV from different angles)

My late father in law wore a REAL bomber jacket in a B24, at 29k feet; 19 yrs old, and swinging his 50 cal. in the 250 mph wind. (awarded, among other things, the DFC.)

Sadly, aviation can sometimes breed arrogance and self importance into people. A neighbor, up the country road from my home, is an airline captain. His pride in himself is always obvious.

At least he doesn’t have a 39 ft concrete wall surrounding his palatial compound like another religious leader we know.

I’ve had a change of heart on this televangelism issue. Although I think these men are scum and hucksters, and have to answer to God for their behavior, they are, however in the business to satisfy people’s wants and needs. People have absolutely no excuse for not knowing how lavishly the Copeland’s live; they even boast about it as a “blessing.” And yet, they STILL give generously, some out of deep poverty and some out of plenty, to a ministry they believe in. Perhaps if KCM wasn’t what it is, these people wouldn’t be nearly as inclined to give, but they do.

And as far as the promises that Copeland and others give to their viewers and parishioners, aren’t many of these promised returns intangible? And is there really any way to know that NOBODY didn’t receive an answer to their prayer attached to the giving?

I say let people do what they want. Warn them at your own discretion, but people are going to do this. I’m not going to forbid the Copelands from doing what they do, though.
