It appears the Catholic Church hierarchy has the same weak, no backbone, conservatives as exist in the Republican Party.
The destruction of our church will continue as long francis is the Pope. Is the any hope for his removal?
He’s old. Right?
Born December 17, 1936, so he just turned 81.
Homosexuality is tolerated and accepted at the Vatican and has before the current pope.
Pedaphiles were shuffled around to protect the church and it happened worldwide.
If they can’t get something so evil corrected, it is not surprising to see the rot spread.

And yes, the bishops are soft, cowardly creatures, even worse than the GOP.

Pope Francis has already done immeasurable harm to the Church for many years to come through his appointment of doctrinally questionable bishops.
What he has set in motion will not end with his papacy.
A Catholic friend has wondered, quite sincerely, if the current pope and what is happening under him is the third Fatima secret. The one that made previous popes almost faint with horror.
That sentiment is shared by many Catholics, and has been written about extensively in the Catholic blogosphere.

Replace Church with US, Vatican II with The Institutions, and Rome with Washington, and that statement is just as true

Given the Cardinals he’s appointed, the next pope may actually be worse than him.

Pope Benedict XVI outlined all the problems today and provided solutions in 1985. Cardinal Newman did the same in 1885.
Problem: apostasy. Solution: trust. The Lord will never scrap His project.
Shuffling pedo priests around and homosexual cocaine orgies in the Vatican itself.
That’s a little more extremely sinful than I would be willing to accept in my leadership.
