What then is the Being of the Logos?
Col 1:15 (Jesus Christ) Who is the Image of the invisible God, Firstborn of every creature,
Who do the Scriptures say He is? The above is plain to read and understand.
For in Him is all created, that in the heavens and that on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones, or lordships, or sovereignties, or authorities, all is created through Him and for Him,
What is His being like? What type of being can do the things above unless equal in creative ability to the One God out of whom the Christ, the Logos, came from?
And He is before all, and all has its cohesion in Him.
Re 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Origin and the Consummation.
In order to be firstborn of all creation means preceding everything else while also being created. The Logos is God’s expression, His Image, His Word. Powerful, equal in creative strength and glory, yet not the One True God whom Jesus worshiped and served.
The glories of the Logos are many and recorded in the Scriptures. His might and power are explained. His kenosis is revealed by Paul. He is the man, Christ Jesus, our Lord and our God. Whoever has seen Him has seen the Father.
