With Jerusalem Recognized as Israel's Capital, The Tribulation Clock Begins Tick, Tick, Tick

Many believe that Trump is a type of Cyrus. Chosen by God for this time in our history to do His bidding. For those who have no clue as to who Cyrus was, he became King of the Persian empire in 559 BC. About 150 years before he became king, the prophet Isaiah wrote that a man named Cyrus would come along and assist God's people in rebuilding Jerusalem and the Temple. Mind you, this was about 70 years before the Temple and the city would be destroyed and the citizens taken away in captivity. I can imagine that this prophecy confused a lot of people when Isaiah wrote it.

Who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd,
And he shall perform all My pleasure,
Saying to Jerusalem, “You shall be built,”
And to the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.”
(Isaiah 44:28)
Then the book of Chronicles records the fulfillment of Isaiah's prophesy
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,

Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the LORD God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up! (2 Chronicles 36:22-23)
Amazingly, King Cyrus would accomplish the noble task of enabling the reconstruction even though he did not “know” Jehovah. In other words, although he was a pagan in sentiment and practice, God used him to accomplish something the Jews could not do without him. Plus he also helped indirectly, to the coming of God’s greater Anointed, Jesus of Nazareth.

So, now that I enlightened anyone who was clueless as to whom Cyrus was, if you look how far America has moved away from it's Judeo-Christian values, you will understand why Trump is looked upon by many Christians as our modern day Cyrus.

Now the reason this is important is because of the dispensation view of the end times prophesies. Much must take place in order for things to happen. One of those things was the returning of the Jewish people back to the land given to them by God. This step took place on November. 29, 1947, when the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for Palestine to be partitioned between Arabs and Jews, allowing for the formation of the Jewish state of Israel.

Many Christian Scholars understood the importance of that moment. They believed that the end was so near that they would see it happen in their life time. Well, that was 70 years and 8 days ago. Today there are not many Christians who were old enough to understand the importance of that moment who are still alive.

Many calculations have been used to pinpoint the time of the Rapture and beginning of the great Tribulations, and they have all been wrong. Then the scholars decided they must be off, because while Israel was a nation they did not have control of Jerusalem.

Then on June 7, 1967, Israeli paratroopers advanced through the Old City toward the Temple Mount and the Western Wall, bringing Jerusalem's holiest site under Jewish control for the first time in 2000 years. That is when the Christian scholars recalculated their timelines and realized that Israel was not truly Israel until that day.

For years I continued to have problems with the dispensation view of the end times, because no matter how they recalculated their scenarios, things just never added up in my head. Thus my hesitation to say, “OK, I agree”. Now I realize that no one knows the time so we all must be ready for the Bride Groom to return like a thief in the night without warning.

However being human we cannot help but run the calculations and maybe, just maybe we will pinpoint something as the Babylonian Magi did when they knew that the Jewish Messiah was born.

So we look at all the evidence we have, and study what the Scriptures tell us. When asked about these times by His disciples, Christ Himself gave the most accurate signs of what to keep an eye out for;

"Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ,” and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:4-14)
Just a cursory look at the world will tell you that we are where Christ told us we would be at the beginning of the sorrows. You cannot look at 1947 and say that. After all, WWII was over and for the most part the world was at peace for the first time in years. We then look at all the troubles that took place in the late 1960s, and you cannot say that 1967 was anything near what we are experiencing in the world today. Plus when you consider what took place today, it brings the events of 1947 and 1967 into perfect harmony for God's future plans.

Oh, maybe not in a physical war type comparison, but spiritually it is huge. What President Trump declared today overshadows both 1947 and 1967 combined. Today, for the first time in almost 2000 years Jerusalem is recognized as the Capital of Israel by the domination power of the world. The United States. Reports are already coming in that nations around the world are fallowing our lead. They have no choice.

Spiritually speaking, the angels in heaven are singing praises to God, because another prophecy is being fulfilled. As I said, many claimed the day Israel became a nation, and then the day Israel took control of Jerusalem would usher in the beginning of the end. However, try as many have, none of the dates used to make the prophecies fit, have worked. Thus the problem with the dispensation time frame that we have seen in the past.

Understand this. Jerusalem is the very center of the universe. The one place in the universe that all else revolves around. Oh I know we are told that we revolve around the sun, and that our universe is but one of many in a galaxy loaded with billions of other galaxies. However, I try not to allow myself to see things only as man sees them. See, God uses His logic to confuse the very experts who can only see what their eyes show them.

It is time to open the eyes of your heart, and unless you have Christ in your heart, you will stay blind to the truth. So those who have Christ will understand this, those who don't will laugh and call me crazy. Just as man says no one can actually walk on water, because it's just physically impossible, God confounded their human logic by walking on water. Oh he did many other mind boggling things that are now called analogies or just made up stories. But I digress. In my heart of hearts, I truly believe the world and all out there really does revolve around Jerusalem.

Jerusalem has always been important to God. Long before Israel was a nation and Jerusalem was still called Salem, Melchizedek, the priest of God Most High, lived there. Genesis 14:18 After Israel became a nation it would be renamed Jerusalem by David. Which means “City of Peace”. There is no Israel without Jerusalem being the center. It is the theological and political center of Israel.

So getting to the main reason for this post. Not since Rome removed the Jews from the land and Israel ceased to be a nation has Israel truly been what it was. Until today.

As I said, many through the years have tried in vain to understand clues to the end times puzzle, only to be confounded when their theory fell flat. Well, the elephant in the room is that Jerusalem has never been recognized as Israel's capital by the world. Up until today, even the United States recognizes Tel Aviv as the capital, and that is why our embassy is.

Many will say, well God and the Jews knew it. Well they both did before 1947 also, but it is what the world must recognize, not just what God and the Jews do.

I have always had a problem with so many things not fitting together with the dispensation view of the end times. They kept moving dates and times while changing formulas. When all they needed to do was look at what God would consider Israel to be like if He restored it as it was 2000 years ago. He would make the world know that the Capital of His nation will again be Jerusalem, not some place that never existed before 1909. God does not make egregious errors, men do.

The capital of Israel must be the political, geographical, and religious center it was before the Romans destroyed it. That is why those who teach dispensation always mention that the Temple must be restored, or at least rebuilt in the exact same location that David originally purchased the plot of land at. Which is the exact same spot where Abraham was going to sacrifice his son Issac. Plus, their must be no question as to what city the world recognizes as Israels capital, and Trump has just done that today.

I agree that this is my interpretation, but before now there was no way to make things fit properly. There could very well be more revelations to come that will only be revealed as God see's fit to reveal them to us. For now however, the picture is so much more clear. Especially looking at the way the world is going today, compared to the world in 1947 and 1967. The many warnings Christ gave His Disciples have never before been so profound as they are now.

There are no past prophecies that claimed a man named Trump would do God's bidding. However, in our hearts, many believe he is chosen by God for this very moment. Interestingly, some people claim that Truman was also a type of a Cyrus, because he was President when the Jewish mandate was voted upon. After the war ended Truman was very instrumental in pushing for the mandate to be accomplished in 1947.

Consider the following. You may remember that the Democrats closed the convention to stop FDRs then current VP, Henry Wallace, from being on the ticket for the 1944 election. The next morning they shocked the country by naming Truman as FDRs new running mate. Good thing too, Wallace was a communist sympathizer. Considering that political move by the Democrats, and Trumps unexpected win (unexpected by the left) you can see why some see divine intervention. Today, Trump completes the task began by Truman 70 years ago.

Today's date, December 6, 2017 will go down as one of the most important political and religious dates in history. Not just for the country of Israel, but for Christians and Jews alike.

Trump is God's modern day Cyrus, and he is going to do what needs to be done to help the Jews restore that which a former great power from the past destroyed. Just like the original Cyrus sent the Jews home to rebuild Jerusalem and their Temple which was destroyed 70 years earlier. Today, 70 years after the mandate was passed, the world recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's Capital. Next comes the reconstruction of the Temple. The count down can now begins. Tick, Tick, Tick.

40 weeks (read years) after the establishment of Israel in 1948, and it will be the rapture.

Wouldn’t that be 1988?

Keep in mind the Saudi cleric’s declaration that killing Jews is forbidden.

Yes, it could be just Taqiyya in play, and it most likely is, but if the Muslims can’t kill Jews they either gonna start killing each other over not killing Jews or killing more Christians to take up the slack.

While the Jewish hold the nation of Israel today, what many forget is that the Jews were of just one tribe. There were 11 others plus one half tribe.

Today, I felt that the POTUS made Israel a whole united nation again in this move. So the 40 year clock started today. Just IMO.

Funny, Hebrew texts are filled with so many references to Cyrus, but for such a man well published he never mentions them.

Hey, Cy, how about a shout out for the homies?

The 70 weeks of years were mostly done when Christ was crucified as foretold (that was 69 weeks). The last week is the tribulation. I’m not personally familiar with some other 40 week period from Scripture.

A lot of assumptions in there, but that’s to be expected.

The biggest issue for me is that Jerusalem is still divided.

It’s great that Trump has recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but that does not undivide the city.

My opinion, though, is that Jerusalem must be unified. Trump’s decision makes that more likely.

I’m thinking that the mooselimbs have to be gone from Temple Mount before Jerusalem can be completely unified.

I’ll throw you a tidbit.

“Cyrus” means “lord” in Greek — as in, chief, nobleman, not theology.

“Donald” means “lord” or “world chief” (again, as in nobleman, not theology).

My opinion, though, is that Jerusalem must be unified. Trump’s decision makes that more likely.

I personally see no reason to believe that Jerusalem will be unified either ethnically, politically, or otherwise, at this time in the End Time.

The unification of Jerusalem will obviously come after the Rapture and the seven-year period of Tribulation, following The Marriage Supper of the Lamb, after Jesus returns leading the Armies of Heaven--the Heavenly Host, (Rev. 21), Satan is bound, and the New Heavens and New Earth are established.

I don't see how any condition could exist in which the reunification of Jerusalem until the removal of all conditions in which hatred on earth exists.

I believe that eventually India will nuke Mecca and Medina, causing Islam to collapse and the Shiites to fall away.

The Sunni are still the seed of Ismael and will continue as ever after a pause.

I look for Temple sacrifice to be restored in the immediate aftermath of the destruction of Mecca.

First things first though, let’s watch for the Burden of Damascus to fall.

The only “rapture” occurs with the Second (and final) coming of Christ, and no man knows the hour.
