I've had a hellish month, but I'm back for now (barukh HaShem!). Maybe next week I'll post what happened, in case any one is interested.
Ping.
Interesting reading, thanks!
I’m interested. I always see your posts with fondness.
Enjoy your Sukkot!
Chag someach!
I agree the Divine Presence is experienced less and less among the nations. When I began to follow the 7 commandments, I was very optimistic about the nations of the world. But I lost my hope. I know that most people are evil. And G-d will punish them.
I admit I only read 2/3 of the article and skimmed the last 1/3, but if the thesis is that the world is becoming increasingly amoral because God is withdrawing from the world into Israel...How does that explain Israelis being among the most secular, irreligious, atheistic populations on earth?
Tehillim 87:1 (Of the Bnei Korach. A mizmor. A shir) On the Harei Kodesh (Holy Mountain) stands His foundation יְסוּדָתוֹ.
2 Hashem loveth the shaarei Tziyon more than all the mishkenot Yaakov.
3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O Ir HaElohim. Selah.
4 To them that know me, I will make mention of Rachav and Babylon; hinei, Philistia, and Tzor, with Ethiopia: this man was born there.
5 But of Tziyon it shall be said, This one and that one were born in her; and Elyon Himself shall establish it.
6 Hashem shall register, when He writeth up the people, that this one was born there. Selah.
7 The sharim (ones singing) as well as the cholelim (players on instruments) shall be there; all my fountains are in thee.

Zechariah 14:16-17
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles [Sukkot].
And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
