2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Forgive us Lord. Since 1962, as a nation we have made it public policy to remove You. Our abominations have multiplied. We have sown wicked seeds, reaping the consequences of rampant drug addiction, weak moral boundaries, and gross apathy.

Father God, help us to strip away the legislation, attitudes, and idolatry which nurture a culture in open rebellion against You. Give this nation a new heart and a new soul, that as a people we would no longer promote wickedness, but that we would be filled with Your Light, seek Your blessings, and abide in Your Word.

Father God, as individuals, give us the mercy, wisdom and opportunity to witness of Your amazing Grace. Let us serve You, love You, and praise You. May the numbers of those who seek Your fellowship be multiplied. May we be prepared for an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit.

We are guilty as a nation. Forgive the remnant within our nation, we pray, and help us to intercede for the rest with praise and thanksgiving for Your eternal, unfathomable purity, power and love! May we not falter in leading souls to you! May we, like the pioneers who founded this nation, hack a civilization out of the wildnerness, fighting the wild animals of sin and degradation wherever they strike, always on guard and ready to defend Your Way.

Things we thought impossible have happened. Wars have ended. Chattel slavery ended. The Great Depression ended. The Berlin Wall fell. Soviet communism fell. With You, all things are possible! We pray believing that the Sexual Revolution can be extinguished, its ugliness and depravity revealed like the photos of the nazi death camps promulgated by Eisenhower's brave decision. We renounce Satan! We renounce sin! Get them behind us!

Father God, as individuals, give us the mercy, wisdom and opportunity to witness of Your amazing Grace. Let us serve You, love You, and praise You. May the numbers of those who seek Your fellowship be multiplied. May we be prepared for an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit.

Blessed, Perfect Holiness, Beloved Father, this is our prayer! Help us to be the salt and light to those around us! Help us to bring about Your kingdom and to bring Your gospel to the lost and suffering, sitting in front of television sets, wandering in Walmart, sitting on the boards of apostate churches in soulless suburbs. Help us to see what you would have us do.

I’ll remember the day as long as I live.

Miss Marcus, a lovely Jewish Lady, and my 2nd grade teacher, weeping as she told us we could no longer say the 23rd Psalm and sing “Come Thou, Almighty King” in our opening exercises.

It was my favorite part of the day, and I wept too.

You are blessed. By the time I started school, it was totally corrupted. How fast we have fallen.

Father God, we lift up this nation, that the enemy would lose its grip on our public institutions. We lift up our churches, that we would not be found lukewarm and that we would not compromise with culture and try to dilute Your Word. Father God we ask that this nation be re-dedicated to You. We ask these things in Jesus’ name.

We continue to pray for increasing wisdom, understanding and favor for our President, his staff and family. We also pray for understanding and a respect for our Constitution by every member of our judicial system. Father, remove those who do not have our best interests and standards. Thank You.
