Racism ‘remains pre-eminent sin of nation, church,’ says [Catholic] Brooklyn bishop

Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio of Brooklyn is forming a new commission to study the effects of racism in the Catholic Church and in the Brooklyn Diocese.

He made the announcement Aug. 24 at a specially called Mass for Solidarity and Peace to counter the recent display of racism in demonstrations in Charlottesville, Virginia.

He said, “I am establishing a diocesan commission for social justice. … In the coming months, we will design our commission to deal with the social and religious problems that racism - in all of its forms - presents to us.”

“Racism remains the pre-eminent sin of not only our nation, but also of our church,” said DiMarzio.

Racism...not abortion, nor murder, nor contraception nor legalized sodomy... is the pre-eminent sin of the Church and the nation.

The floor of Hell is paved with the skulls of bad bishops.

So we’re told, anyway.

The biggest problem the Catholic Church has is a communist pope.

“Racism remains the pre-eminent sin of not only our nation, but also of our church,” said DiMarzio.

I agree with him. There is way too much anti white racism going on out there.

Nope, sorry Bishop....racism was once a serious problem in this country and very possibly is still present today (and not just by white people) but "pre-eminent" is a deliberately false accusation....one very possibly with which your boss, that Argentinian, agrees.

And BTW,Bishop....*my* Pope is John Paul II...I don't know who yours is.

Like good little useful idiots, the bishops are falling over themselves to join in the Soros-financed Marxist chorus: Racism! Racism! Racism!

ANYTHING to keep from talking about abortion, contraception, divorce, anti-family taxation, Civilization Jihad, etc., etc.

An honest report from the new commission would identify Obama as the root cause of the resurgence of racism in the US over the past 9 years.

What do you think are the chances of the commission delivering an honest report?

,
Anyone who has lived in a big city knows of the attacks, 6 vs 1, chasing and beating until brain swelling and coma. Nurses in the Coma Wards for long term patients certainly know.

If you go on YouTube, you can see in Milwaukee where black crowds were beating white people, and saying at lights, “he’s white, get him.”

So, are these racial crimes a sin? Is it racist when blacks ignore DNA, science, forensics, and autopsies to convict whites, or let a guilty black person walk?

Gas stations, corners, buses and subways show an ugly Racism where whites are targets.

If these people were serious about Racism they would call it out in all forms.

It’s simple. This bandwagon brings money and power to some groups.

As coulter says, the nice thing about being Protestant is that you don’t have to pay attention to stupidity from the clergy

I have never spoken directly to Dimarzio, but have had multiple conversations with his staff - (heavy hitters in the Diocese) - and was met with indifference; and on several occasions was subjected to unnecessary snotiness because they simply refused to answer any questions!

Racism is a bigger deal than rampant divorce and re-marriage, disobedience of parents, murder, fornication, lying, political corruption, hypocrisy, theft, judicial corruption, molestation, and a host of others...?

The number one evil in the world today is false, and just made up, claims of racism. It is not even close either.

It is used as a weapon and encouraged by the left all over the world. It has been so successful that conservatives are sacred to death of being called racists. It is so effective that you must agree with them or be destroyed.
