A difference in perspective is that Jews and Christians don’t believe Abraham, David, or any other of the old guys from the distant past was a “perfect man.” They are admired for their faith in God, while their personal failings are treated *as* failings.
As I’ve pointed out elsewhere, if your Christian co-worker starts getting really into his religion, your biggest concern is that he might bore you. If your Moslem co-worker starts getting into his religion, you’re legitimately concerned that he might kill you.

The sign doesn’t mention Mohammad. So by getting offended, Muslims are admitting that these are statements are true about Mohammad, otherwise why would they jump to this conclusion?
