The pope is not a prophet. He is a political activist, and needs to resign.

But it is not only Catholics who are in love with Francis, recalls the archbishop. "I have met Baptist ministers who have told me, 'He is our Pope too because he lives the Gospel.'"

Somehow, I am disinclined to believe that..............

I feel sorry for the Catholics who, like so many denominations (protestant included), are at the mercy of deluded and self-agrandized leadership. This Francis guy seems to getting wackier day-by-day. He's a Jim Jones on training wheels.

Be as disinclined as you like. My wife's relatives have all but abandoned the Methodist Church her grandparents built and asked the Methodists to provide a pastor for. The pastor there praises the faux Pope Francis every other week according to the only maiden aunt that still goes there because she can walk to Church on Sunday.

Call Francis what you like, but the fact of the matter is that he's a mainstream Protestant, nothing more, nothing less.

IOW, a typical non-Catholic heretic with a social agenda. The epitome of what ninety plus percent of people who claim to be Christian in this country are.

“Pope Francis is a prophet. He is taking the Church where he has to be”

Correction: Pope Francis is a liberal, political activist. He is taking the Church further into the toilet.

Speaking to America after the ad limina visit last month of the Canadian Bishops, Lacroix explained that the current Pope has put his pontificate firmly in the footsteps of Vatican II. The Council "did many jobs, changed many things, and now Francis is taking us to another level, " the cardinal said. "Continue with the work of the Council, not by changing structures and documents, but by taking you and me to a deeper relationship with the Lord."

The Council, the Council, the Council.

I agree with you.

Pope Francis is leading us to schism, I stick around until I am run out because of my orthodoxy.

Great organizations occasionally get bad/evil leaders, the Catholic Church isn’t immune from getting a heretic madman as its leader.

Actually, he is only taking willing liberal sycophants and idiotic sheep. Thinking Catholics know enough to avoid falling into his traps. If what he preaches doesn't line up with Gospels and Tradition, it is ignored. That doofus is not "taking" ME anywhere, thankyouverymuch

Really?

Really?

You hate your own Pope, and you still somehow manage to blame Protestants that have nothing to do with it?

That sounds SO much like projection that it’s not even funny. Seems to me like you find YOUR behavior against an anti-Christian Pope too Protestant for YOUR liking, and have to project it onto him.
