I’m Catholic, and I can’t stand this pope. He is Marxist to the core.

He truly is a libtard.

North Korea will have ICBM’s capable of nuking dozens of U.S. cities by the end of President Trump’s first term.

The UN has detected lithium 6 during their inspection in North Korea....an ingredient necessary for the construction of a hydrogen bomb.

And the pope wants us to do nothing? What a fool.

As a Catholic, I am so sick and tired of this blithering idiot of a Pope.

I'm also sick and tired of this blithering idiot of a Pope, and I'm not even Catholic.

He’s not infallible on anything. This fraudulent leftard Pope is living proof that the whole infallibility doctrine was always foolish nonsense. Popes are human. Some of them are great, most of them are good, some are just OK, and a few are pretty awful (as in the current case).

(ex-Catholic here)

I think this is fake news. The Pope never said the US as such is escalating the crisis. He asked that both sides step away from the brink. Isn’t that what’s being asked now by the UN as well.

From what I understand, Christians in North Korea are SO desperate to leave that horrible place that they are fleeing TO Red China.

I agree. He’s a communist bar bouncer who gut punched in the face one too many times and then joined the church for a better meal plan and less hits to the face.

No, can the Pope not understand that while NK had been doing this “for years” the programs have now reached a point where they are becoming a serious threat to world safety?

He should Retire and take the Helm at the DNC.

Either that, or get Appointed to the Ninth Circuit.

Clearly the Pope has gotten on the band wagon to take down Trump......of course the Vatican people are highly invested in their own global ventures that rake them in some $$$$$ they don’t want to be without.

Think maybe the “crazy little fat kid” will listen to Pope Francis??? Seems like HE is the one who is threatening the world, not Trump.

In the movie Shoes of the Fisherman the Pope sells off everything the Church owns in order to feed a starving Red China and avert a nuclear war.

Pope: Trump escalating conflict with North Korea

This is a bad thing? To me, it's like saying, "Police escalating conflict with criminals." Surely that's what we want.

Through human genius, resources — notably energy — are actually more plentiful than a few decades ago. We are not running out of resources. We are running into a world of abundance.

In some things yes; some things no. Over population is and will be a problem going forward.

Another thing to consider as we go into the robot age is jobs for all the people. It will only get worse. No jobs means increased crime and drug use and probably more over population of drug addled babies who will grow up with something wrong with their brains.

It’s all a domino effect. Best to keep the population lower or nature will.

The Catholics are burdened with a Pope who sticks his socialist nose in everything except religion.

The End Times are supposed to see a dissolving of the major religions to be replaced by a global religion - this Pope may be a precursor.

Wealth is both the most broadly effective contraceptive and the most effective environmental policy. When people have what they need, they have fewer children, they prioritize the environment, and they have the resources to make the environment better. Rapidly evolving “exponential” technologies will provide the wherewithal to make everything better. Agricultural technologies have had the biggest impact so far, with two billion people being lifted out of extreme poverty over the past 25 years, but other technologies will soon create a huge global middle class that is richer than their grandparents dreamed of.

Our biggest problem going forward is not a shortage of resources but a poverty of spirit.
