Well since Solomon wrote some 3,000 proverbs (1 Kings 4:32)many more than are in this bookit is possible that Proverbs 2529 were not put together by Solomon, but by others after his death, and thus some could even have been edited by Hezekia's men. If so, then God would have guided His servants who compiled it so that they selected the ones He wanted in His authoritative Word.
Which could be the same instance for the last two Proverbs we attribute to the men of God named Agur for Proverb 30 and Lemuel for Proverb 31. There are no mistakes or errors in the Scriptures. So when we doubt what we read, it is always our misunderstanding of hat was written in the ancient days. Thus we pray for God to open our minds so that we can have the knowledge and wisdom to understand that which He handed down to us through the men of God who's shoulder we stand upon.
God bless everyone, and enjoy your reading today.
Thank you for this.
thanks for the post, thank God for His Word!
(2 Ki. 20:11)
