President Donald Trump today is using his executive authority to seek and determine if tax regulations issued under the prior administration are too costly, complex or illegal.
President Trump meets with budget director Mick Mulvaney and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
The first memorandum demands a review of the Financial Stability Oversight Council's policy of “Too big to fail” which determines which banks are systemically important financial institutions.
The second memorandum will determine whether the Orderly Liquidation Authority amounts to little more than a bank bailout.
The president will spend his afternoon meeting on financial and budget matters at the Department of the Treasury with Secretary Steve Mnuchin and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney.
As the Lord leads, please pray for:
• President Trump as he prepares for the budget approval process.
• Trump team as they work on tax and economic issues and tax reform

Praying for all those requests. God has anointed President Trump with particular skill in all those areas. Praying for a deeper anointing, wisdom, skill, “witty inventions”, insight for him and those who are working on our Nation’s finances with him. So grateful to God for this man and what God has taught him in preparation for His assignment. What an awesome God. We must never forget that it is He who will make this administration a success. We look to Him alone and give him heartfelt thanks in Jesus’ name.

I do wonder sometimes if our President reflects that all those years amassing wealth and moving among the world’s financial and political elite was partly God’s way of guiding and preparing him for this enormous task he has in front of him. I think it was.
He has repeatedly said his parents taught him that when God blesses you you have a responsibility to pay it back. Last week when the bible verse that The message was quoted he closed his eyes and gave a slight nod.
Yes he has been prepared and when called answered. “Here I Am Lord!”
