Live as citizens who reflect the Good News of Christ. . .firmly united in Spirit, united in fighting for the faith that the Gospel brings. Don’t let your opponents intimidate you in any way. This is God’s way of showing them that they will be destroyed and that you will be saved. God has given you the privilege not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him. (Philippians 1:27-29)

FATHER, touch our hearts today by YOUR SPIRIT as we pray. OH LORD, remind us that our HOPE is not in this world and what it can bring or give, but in the ETERNAL GOSPEL the GOOD NEWS, the risen CHRIST and the FAITH that saves. Dear LORD, remind us that no matter who sits in the White House, it is our duty as servants of CHRIST, to live as citizens not only of America, but of the GOOD NEWS of HIM WHO SAVES. Righteousness through HIM has no surviving enemy, for HE HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD. Amen.

So we pray YOUR WORD and YOUR STRENGTH to be upon our leaders, our blessed heroes, our struggling families, our wayward children, hurting marriages, those with wavering Faith, that through our prayer, firmly united in the SPIRIT, will bring courage and commitment to the areas of each of these lives and stand FIRM in the FREEDOM and GLORY that HIS GOSPEL brings. Dear LORD, please don’t let the opponents of our Republic intimidate our leaders in pressing forward, don’t let the opponents of democracy intimate and harm our heroes, don’t let the opponents of our families and marriages intimate our standing as those who honor our creator and glory in HIS WAYS, don’t let the evil one intimate those who are wayward and struggling by his lies that he is greater than the one WHO IS IN THEM. And LORD, we pray for all the lost, who are a breath away from being destroyed, may they call upon the LORD today and be saved.

LORD, it is our blessed privilege to not only believe in CHRIST but to suffer for Him, for in this HE FIGHTS FOR US, and GIVES US THE VOICE TO SAY: TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE GOOD THINGS HE AS DONE FOR US. IN HIS NAME we pray. Amen.

FATHER GOD,

It is Your providence that AMERICA is united. We are united by our declarations: “One nation under GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” “In GOD we trust.”

May we stand in unity for CHRIST’S sake. May we be ever mindful of CHRIST’S prayer for us believers and do HIS WILL:

JOHN 17:20-22
20 “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in Me through their message. 21 I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as You are in Me, Father, and I am in You. And may they be in us so that the world will believe You sent Me.

22 “I have given them the glory You gave Me, so they may be one as We are One. 23 I am in them and You are in Me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that You sent me and that You love them as much as You love Me.”

LORD, may we stand united by our love and the power of Your Word. May the world see and know JESUS CHRIST is LORD over AMERICA. May our nation once again be a shining light for all to see. Blessed is the nation whose GOD is the LORD.
