it is the duty, job, assignment, as it were, for every individual who calls themselves Christians, to be of such examples that all the other inhabitants of the world become insanely jealous

As a 'soft idea' that is a good one for elementary school or Christian pop music. Unfortunately, it leaves off a lot of what Christians are supposed to do and why. We are to live a 'certain way' not to impress people (like the pharisees) but because we love God and wish to honor him.

In the Bible Christians are given several commandments by Christ. The first and most important is to love God. Secondly to show love to your neighbor as you would yourself (Matt. 22:36-40). Lastly Christ told us to go and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19). Christ also points out the world will not love us, but hate us - just like they hated Him first (John 15:18).

I would also say that the Bible points out many will come in the name of Christ falsely. "Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matt. 7:22-23)

There are many other verses about false teachers and anti-Christs in the Bible. So if anyone says they didn't get saved because they saw a "Christian" acting badly, that is still their fault and not that of Jesus. He gave everyone ample warning many would do things in His name falsely.

Yes, this is another symptom of a sick Church. Yoga, and more so the meditation on self. Most people are not aware of what you just said, that they are practices for channeling spirits (demons). A few years ago I actually did a study on this and Labyrinth paths when I discovered their presence inside US churches. A very sad sight.

This is a "bad trip"

"In Shaiva theology, yoga is used to unite kundalini with Shiva. A spontaneous awakening in one who is unprepared or without the assistance of a good teacher can result in an experience which has been termed as "Kundalini crisis", "spiritual emergency" or "Kundalini syndrome". The symptoms are said to resemble those of Kundalini awakening but are experienced as unpleasant, overwhelming or out of control. Unpleasant side effects are said to occur when the practitioner has not approached Kundalini with due respect and in a narrow egotistical manner. Kundalini has been described as a highly creative intelligence which dwarfs our own. Kundalini awakening therefore requires surrender; it is not an energy which can be manipulated by the ego."

Basically what we would call demonic possession.

Lol, yes the woman who talked with ghosts and held seances in the white house all while calling herself a Christian. Praise God she didn’t get elected, for far more than one reason.

There are many who believe that the kundalini spirit has infiltrated the church masquerading as the Holy Spirit, and a lot of that is seen in Pentecostalism with the current *filled with the Spirit* phenomena of shaking and falling down.

Kundalini spirits in the church?

Dear victus,

For future reference, when you are replying to particulars written by someone else:
1. Start the original that you are answering using the regards to, or as in business english language “re:”
2. Then put in quotes.
3. Then provide your answer.
4. If you disregard all that, as you did, never use the same typeface for the original and your answer.

Why?

It looks and reads the same as someone doing a Wiki cut and pasting when presenting an answer, and not worth the time to read it.

A single mistake called I left out a / in my </i> making it all italics. Not intentional.

Interesting, whether its Kundalini or not matters little as a demonic influence is still demonic. It wouldn’t surprise me if that is what powers the Pentecostal movement though. As I already pointed out, Satan and his followers can appear as holy and good people. The speaking of tongues in the Bible was such that everyone could hear the disciples in their own language, rather than no one could understand the person who appears to be having a seizure.

This article does a good job showing that if anyone wants a better look than my short reply:
