Perhaps you did not read very well the post. This article made reference to the article: “Satan Apes Christ” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2016/09/satan-apes-christ.html): “There are various indications that the peace promised by Our Lady of Fatima will be fulfilled on the CENTENARY OF THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT MIRACLE OF THE SUN, October 13, 1917 at Fatima, Portugal, which will be October 13, 2017!”
Thus there is the possibility of peace by October 13, 2017. Thus I think one needs rather “a back up plan” before “October 14”, as written also in the article (for Catholics):
“The important point which ought not to require to be made but which plainly does need to be made, is that now is the time of grace in which we must seize every opportunity for penance, sacrifice, fasting and reparation, lead good lives, pray the Rosary daily, wear the Brown Scapular of our Lady of Mount Carmel, make frequent visits to the Blessed Sacrament and above all to go to confession regularly. We should also attend Holy Mass as often as we can, receive Holy Communion and, if possible, partake of the daily prayer of the Church (e.g. Lauds, Vespers &c). It is better to prepare now than to wait for the great warning, otherwise we might die of fright seeing our whole lives put before us in the light of the truth of God in one instant!”
We as Christians seek to follow Christ who went through his passion, crucifixion, death and burial before his resurrection.
The article also quoted the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults: “The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection” (CCC 677). Dear friends, we are Catholic and as the catechism tells us, we as members of Christ’s Body, the Church, must now pass through the crucifixion; we do not believe in the rapture as do many of our protestants brothers. We must suffer with our Lord so as to rise with our Lord (see also: “Catholic Prophecy Today”; http://markbeast.blogspot.com)!
Just as for Christ, for each Christian, there will be no resurrection without willingly passing through the crucifixion; there is no Easter without Good Friday!
I hope my motives are only for the true love of God and the true love of neighbor. True love of neighbor is above all to wish well for my neighbor not just for this short life, but especially for eternal life. If my motives are not purely for this, I as a Catholic know I will have to spend some time to be purified in Purgatory before entering heaven where only the totally pure can enter. I thank God for Purgatory, otherwise I would surely go to hell. On the other hand, I hope that God may help me to purify my intentions here on earth, because it is much much much less painful to be purified here on earth than in Purgatory!!! Here on earth we as Catholics have access to the very powerful sacraments, especially the Sacrament of Confession and the Most Holy Eucharist, so as to obtain the mercy of God and the grace to change our lives. After death, there is no more chance to receive the mercy of God, but only the justice of God!

We know that Jesus was taken up to God so why assume every thing else is two thousand years later?
May I assume I am replying to a Catholic? We know that the Word of God has many levels. Also as Catholics we rely not just on ourselves, with the danger of subjectivism, to interpret the Sacred Scriptures. We have 2000 years of the guidance of the Holy Spirt to help us deepen the truths of God.
To offer another interpretation of Rev 12, some revelations that are approved by many Bishops, Our Lady revealed to Don Stefano Gobbi the following (14 giugno 1980):
«Figli prediletti, oggi è la vostra festa, perché è la festa del Cuore Immacolato della vostra Mamma Celeste, a cui vi siete consacrati.
Passatela nel raccoglimento, nella preghiera, nel silenzio, nella fiducia.

Compio i più grandi prodigi nel deserto in cui mi trovo. Li compio nel silenzio, nel nascondimento per trasformare l’anima e la vita di quei miei figli che si sono completamente a Me affidati.
Così ogni giorno faccio fiorire il loro deserto nel mio giardino, dove Io posso ancora esercitare pienamente la mia Opera e dove la SS. Trinità può ricevere gloria perfetta.

No, you and others misunderstand. I know there is a religious thread and that is where these go. What I am objecting to is the main forum being clogged with these obscure and unreadable and extremely long posts. How do I exclude them from my Forum list?
I've only recently heard about To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons and what I assume is the sanitized "official" version of the same book, Our Lady Speaks to Her Beloved Priests.
I've read that the former book better explains many confusing things in the Scriptures and prophecy, including who/what are the freemasons and why they are specifically called out, but I've just bought them and haven't read either one yet.
I had first heard of To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons reading someone speculating about how this book of compiled messages from Our Lady represents one of the two witnesses of Revelation 11, and so naturally I was curious and bought it and the other version.
As I'm sure you know, non-Catholics don't usually hear about such things, and even then not as something to be taken seriously.
Personally, I first heard about Fatima thanks to Art Bell a couple of decades ago, but nothing more.
A few years ago, I found the messages in True Life In God, which also speaks about Garabandal, which I had also never heard of before, calling it the "sequel to Fatima".
Last month, I first heard about To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons and I'm struggling to catch up with all of this material, as well as getting my head around it.
It blows my mind that we are experiencing these things in our times, in our lifetime, and that so few know of them or that our Scriptural understanding is so scattered and confused.

Pray at least one Rosary everyday. Stay close to the Eucharist, and go to confession once a week if possible.
There is less prayer than ever before, more sin than ever before, even worse, indifference as if sin no longer exists, and so we have given much greater power to “the father of lies”, Satan (Jn 8:44). In particular Satan has more power to “disguise himself as an angel of light” (2Cor 11:14), to offer his very deadly beautiful lies as if they were the “truth that sets us free” (Jn 8:32)!
Thus it is very important in these times of great confusion, when even Catholic bishops are no longer in agreement about the fundamentals of our faith and morals, to not only pray much and to study the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults, but to keep our eyes open so as not to fall into the beautiful lies of Satan presented as if they were the Truth!
