The “Queer Christ” doctrine, of the Episcopal Divinity School.

Wow.  That's pretty subversive.

"Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch?  He belongs to a far-left church that embraces marriage redefinition, gun control, and the theory of man-caused global warming.

He belongs to St. John's Episcopal Church in Boulder, Colo., the Episcopal diocese of Colorado confirmed on Wednesday. Church bulletins show that the judge has been an usher three times in recent months. His wife Louise frequently leads the intercessory prayer and reads the weekly Scripture at Sunday services, and his daughters assist in ceremonial duties during church services as acolytes.

The first word that St. John's uses to describe itself on its website and Facebook page is "inclusive," and the church is led by a female rector. On its website, the church encourages members to write letters to Congress asking for actions addressing climate change.

Rev. Susan Springer has said she is pro-gay marriage and offers blessings to same-sex couples""

Is that the divinity school Supreme Court Nominee Gorsuch’s “pastor”, Susan Springer, went to?

It’s certainly not connected to any studies Gorsuch undertook himself. He primarily studied law, and philosophy of law. Originalism is, by all accounts, his central focus.

That’s not the question, wolf.

The “Queer Christ” doctrine, of the Episcopal Divinity School.

Is that doctrine taught by the divinity school attended by Supreme Court Nominee Gorsuch’s “pastor” - Susan Springer?

Springer isn’t nominated to be on the SC.

Btw, name-calling is the antithesis of “kibdness, gentleness and patience,”—traits Christians are commanded to exercise toward others.

Nor is it a zone where you can endlessly demand answers to questions that have been ansered. I answered your question. It wasn’t the answer you wanted, but it was the answer I gave. Now kindly leave me alone; thank you.

Jesus gave us a vivid and clear picture of the Day of Judgement. The sheep and goats were forever divided. Have you read the account recently? Does Jesus say to the sheep, “Come to my right hand side, because you always maintained doctrinal purity,” while to the goats, “Depart into the eternal fire of damnation, accursed ones, because you embraced liberal doctrines,”?

The “Queer Christ” doctrine, of the Episcopal Divinity School.

Is that CLEARLY subversive, anti-Christian, doctrine taught by the divinity school attended by Supreme Court Nominee Gorsuch’s “pastor” - Susan Springer?

Yes or No.

The issue of what Jesus actually *did* say in Matthew 25 remains crucial. The direct words of Jesus are absolute.

The context of Mt 25 in Matthew 19 and John 14 is ABSOLUTE, wolf - as are the terms MALE and FEMALE.

Matt 19:4-6

4 "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'a 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?b 6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

NIV

John 14:24

24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

NIV

Earlier you mocked the words of Jesus. You might want to reconsider.

Nope, if I'm mocking anything it's your twisted opinion; and, by association, the denomination citied in this thread whose "divinity school"  espouses the CLEARLY anti-Christian doctrine of "Queer Jesus".

Matthew 25:33

SHEEP, which have ever been considered as the emblems of mildness, simplicity, patience, and usefulness, represent here the genuine disciples of Christ.

GOATS, which are naturally quarrelsome, lascivious, and excessively ill-scented, were considered as the symbols of riotous, profane, and impure men. They here represent all who have lived and died in their sins. See Ezek 34:17, and Zech 10:3.

(from Adam Clarke's Commentary, Electronic Database. Copyright © 1996, 2003, 2005, 2006 by Biblesoft, Inc. All rights reserved.)

Meanwhile, the context of the "sheep" referenced above in Mt 25, in Matthew 19 and John 14,  is still ABSOLUTE, wolf - as are the terms MALE and FEMALE.

NIV

Reread what you said about soup kitchens. It was mocking the very words of Jesus in Matthew 25.

You’re quite the disingenuous liar.

You can’t give a homeless guy a pair of socks and a bowl of soup and then use that as a license to PERVERT CHRIST’S TEACHINGS ON MARRIAGE.
